More about the restaurant: Bayang - Clarke Quay

Established in 2006, Bayang Singapore prides itself on serving authentic Indonesian cuisine. Nestled in the quiet alleys of Clarke Quay – River Valley Road, to be precise – Bayang Singapore is all about authenticity, meaning the Indonesian chefs use only the best ingredients and the most traditional recipes. The result is a menu that’s vibrant and brimming with flavour and colour. As well as the food, Bayang Clarke Quay celebrates the best of Indonesian and Balinese culture through a dining space that’s got plenty going on in terms of authentic decor. We love this place and we’re sure you will as well. Reserve your table now.

Dear guests, kindly note that the holding time for reservations is only 15 mins, after which tables will be released automatically.

Like Indonesia and Bali themselves, the menu at Bayang Clarke Quay is varied and exciting. You’ll find everything from much-loved fried rice and noodle dishes to whole barbecued fish, satay sticks, small bites and some excellent surf & turf platters. Out of everything, the mee tek tek is a guaranteed win – arguably the national dish of Indonesia and done at Bayang Clarke Quay with style – while the curry chicken hotpot and the beef rendang with yellow rice are both satisfying options as well. For something a little more indulgent, meanwhile, the crispy whole fish done on the barbecue is a treat.

You’ll find Bayang Clarke Quay on River Valley Road, one of the hottest parts of Singapore and just opposite Fort Canning Park. The closest MRT station is Fort Canning but you’ll also be able to walk from Clarke Quay if you don’t mind crossing the river – quite a good way to take in the vibe of this eclectic part of town if you ask us. Bayang Clarke Quay is perfect for a proper Indo fill or just a drink or two owing to a solid drinks menu.
