Opened at the tail end of 2014 to much acclaim, aPompei is an Italian restaurant with a serious seafood slant. Aside from excellent homemade pasta, including some exquisitely made filled paste and fine classically prepared meat, it is seafood that’s really the star of the show here. On Sixth Avenue, in Singapore’s Bukit Timah, Italian food is given the all-star treatment at aPompei, with classic ingredients and fine service. And, don't forget about aPompei's regular promotions, like their mixed grill meat and Italian cold cut deals. Just ask your waiter for more information.
Italian food is one of Western dining’s big success stories in Singapore. Diners don’t have to look very far for great pizzas and pasta dishes in the city. aPompei, however, kicks things up a gear, giving diners the full Italian treatment, complete with separate pasta and meat courses, enough to make Italian nonne everywhere happy. Diners on Sixth Avenue in Bukit Timah are encouraged to sample as much of the seafood here as possible, as it’s this that sets aPompei apart from pretenders to their Italian food throne.
Singapore’s fans of Italian food are flocking to aPompei’s spacious dining room for refined plates of vongole and a number of other frutti del mare-led dishes. Sixth Avenue diners looking to celebrate should head over to aPompei and let the team do what they do best – organise parties and events for up to 80 people. The restaurant is child friendly and offer a bring-your-own option for a small corkage fee. Bukit Timah is fortunate to have a family-friendly Italian restaurant of aPompei’s calibre on its doorstep. Reservations are recommended.
Good Food and Wine. Authentic Italian Restaurant. Great Ambience. Friendly Service. Reasonable Prices. Wide Variety of Food. Pastas, Pizzas, Main Course....Superb Wine Selection. Perfect for Couples.
Great white base pizza instead of the usual tomato base we are familiar with. However, no sight of the Italian chef mentioned in other posts for an authentic Italian experience to match the price. Pleasant experience nevertheless...
