Excellent meal and wine. Host/owner is super welcoming. Lovely restaurant.
Food all great and their house pour wine also well above average. The pasta and sea bass especially delicious. And staff all helpful and friendly. Nice space too. My third time there and will definitely be back for more.
Singapore has a whole host of exciting dining experiences, and now there’s a new spot to add to the list… Housed in an old 1950s warehouse, Amò in Clarke Quay is a brand new Italian restaurant and bar with exposed brick walls and vintage mosaic floor tiles retained from the original building. Amò also has an outdoor courtyard that can seat up to 12 guests dining al fresco under the Singapore sky with a huge hand-painted wall illustrated by local artist Venetia Stravens. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are welcomed into an all-Italian bar serving fantastic drinks and cocktails, with a cocktail menu comprised of refreshing coolers and spritzes, as well as over 20 different wines available.
A lot of thought has gone into Amò’s carefully-crafted food offering, with an emphasis on sharing plates and fresh produce. And the menu itself is truly a sight to behold, with decadent dishes like spaghettoni with Boston lobster and tarragon or pizza with bone marrow, wild garlic pesto and anchovy salsa verde on offer. There’s no doubt that this Hong Kong Street joint is going to become a firm favourite of anyone living around Clarke Quay! Make sure you book in advance to ensure you get a seat at Amò.
