Akashi is my go to place for great casual service and great food. Whether alacarte or set, quality is always high. Sake selection is good and nothing beats an afternoon feast after the lunch crowd!

The food was ok but the serving staff were not so good, shouting across the aisle! We were seated in the corner nook. Really disturbing. Not the 1st time that I have encountered the situation.

The cod fish soup was salty and the fish sweetness cannot be tasted. The quality of the dish was better when I ate it last year.

Akashi offers a solid Japanese dining experience in a nice setting at Paragon. We enjoyed our meal and found the service to be attentive. They have a good selection of classic Japanese dishes, from sushi and sashimi to other grilled and cooked options. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.
