The Assam fish head in the Claypot is nice and tasty. Not too spicy even young children would be able to eat. The fish is fresh.
All dishes were delicious and my oversea friends were happy of all the food. We ordered salted egg chicken, garlic baby kalan and butter prawns.
Good tze char in a Coffeeshop. Food is reasonably priced.
Great food at very reasonable prices. Would recommend to all who wants good food at coffee shop prices. The Assam fish is nice and not too spicy.
I mostly eat at restaurants but was surprised that Quandoo has booking for coffeeshop too. So I finally landed up with 805 Seafood Kitchen - Hougang in a coffeeshop. The person taking my order was very pleasant as she carefully directedme to the Seafood Kitchen patiently and her recommendation of fish head curry was very good with a very generous amount of vegetables like eggplants, ladies fingers and round cabbage. We ordered an additional "hae cho" (fried prawn rolls) to be dipped in a sweet sauce. Both dishes were delicious but too much for 2 persons. The lady kindly packed both curry and the "hae cho" for us to bring home. This place is wheelchair friendly but a tat too warm as in coffeeshop. Price wise, the fish head curry could be cheaper as I have tasted cheaper ones elsewhere which is just as tasty 😁
Standard of food is consistent as I have been here multiple times. My family like the Assam curry fish head, not to spicy and the fish is fresh.
Good location serving large varieties on the menu. Not too expensive either. Environment can't complain as it's a coffee shop. Overall value for monthly in my opinon.
Food is not bad but a little expensive~ Service is quite prompt~ It's better to make a reservation before going to avoid the dining crowd~ =)
Pricing is a little expensive and generally ok tasting food~ I will like to recommend "Marmite Chicken" as the best dish of the meal~ =)
Beside the fish head Assam fish the other dishes are also worth trying. Getting a table is challenging sometimes
