Located just steps from Outram Park station in Singapore’s Chinatown, 31 Bar and Kitchen serves up classic French bistro fare with an Asian twist in a hip, modernized fashion. Importing fine wines from small, independent vineyards in France, owner Andre Rannaud brings an authentic French experience to visitors and locals alike. Keeping the decoration simple and low-key, guests enjoy a gourmet dining experience in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The bistro keeps guests on their toes with an ever-changing menu and rotating daily specials, like the pulled duck confit sanger and black truffle French fries.
31 Bar and Kitchen provides diners with a relaxing hang-out spot in Singapore’s bustling Chinatown. Once part of Singapore’s Red Light District, Keong Saik Road is now one of Singapore’s most popular streets, containing a variety of bistros, cafes, bars and boutiques. Situated in the conservation area of Bukit Pasoh, with its historic three-story Art Deco shop houses, the bistro is a popular new addition to the neighborhood.
Open past midnight even on weeknights, 31 Bar and Kitchen offers guests a comfortable after-work hangout spot. In addition to the extensive selection of rare French wines, the restaurant provides diners with alternating cocktail specials as well as decadent desserts such as crème brûlée, tiramisu and profiteroles. Located in the former location of Rennaud’s popular high-end restaurant Provence Le Restaurant, 31 Bar and Kitchen continues to deliver upscale French dishes and impress guests in a more laid-back environment. In addition to being the perfect spot for date night, the restaurant caters to big groups with its large plates meant for sharing, like the French farmed cheese platter with imported cheeses from France or the home-made chili crab puffs.
WE HAVE VISITED 31 SEVERAL TIMES ITS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO GO FOR EXCELLENT FRENCH FOOD AND WINE. NEVER DISAPPOINTS. THE BEST LAMB IN TOWN,
It was a vegetarian experience, which was great to try some of the interesting combinations. The panna cotta was amazing, but bring back the meat.
Perfect. Again. Keeps getting better. The best lamb in Singapore. The best fries. The best value wine. Play music requests as well. Relaxed, informal like having a meal at a friend's house. All of which is why ee keep going back again and again and again. And now our kids are fans. And our friends. And their kids. Enjoy.
