The skewers are cheaply priced at 25c a stick but you have to order the hot pot soup base separately. The side dishes however are a good bargain if you are decide not to try the skewers. The only negative is the smell of hot pot soup and meats will linger on your clothes even after you leave.

We had the VIP room at level 2 so it was a private area which was good. But to take the Chuan Chuan we got to take leave down to level 1. Food was ok but it is quite steep for 50cents per stick. Other than that, overall was ok.

Service staff are polite and friendly. Environment is clean and spacious. There’s a wide selection of fresh meat and vegetables skewers, plus other cooked dishes on the menu. Each skewer is 25 cents. They have other ingredients placed in different coloured plates, ranging from $3-5 per plate. Overall food is good and price is reasonable. We had an enjoyable dinner.

spicy mala soup is very oily. for skewers, they have more variety for beef. if you’re not a beef eater, not much variety. they charge $2 per pax for condiments and did not inform us about this. their staff automatically serve each of us a condiments he mixed. I only tasted it with 1 dip and it’s all oil. which i did not eat nor did i go to the condiments counter to make new condiments. I would not patron this restaurant again and I don’t recommend too.

There are 2 levels in the restaurant but if u sit at level 2, u need to go down and get the food at level 1 then take the lift to level 2. Food is reasonable at 25 cents per stick. Waiters or waitresses are friendly and proactive.

Mixed platter of skewers for hotpot came with prawns, innards, mutton, beef, pork, chicken with varied leanness/fat/tendons - not for health-conscious! Surprised that some skewers were just a tiny piece of meat on a long skewer - like 1/3 meat on a satay stick.

Another hotpot restaurant along that street. Lunch promotion is very good value with a variety of hearty individual claypot dishes. Sour veg fish came with enoki, kelp, veg and slices of white fish.

It was a great experience and the chuan chuan are so affordable at 25 cents per stick. The mala soup base is da bomb!! Will be back again!

The food was good and there were many options for the skewers

Once seated, we were immediately being served with a plate of sesame oil with some garlic/ coriander inside. There are condiments charges to that plate of oil, but didn’t inform us upon serving it. Feel like cheated.

Staffs were friendly and efficient. I was allocated to the second floor of the restaurant which is pretty inconvenient as food selections are at the first floor. Other than that, all are good, will come back again.
