Food is great. Quick service and did not have to wait long after placing order. Quiet environment.

Top up service can be improved as need to alert service staff and took them a while to get back.

My favourite go-to place for tonkatsu. Good food and service.

There is no customer service basically asking if you need any refill of vegetables or rice . I only see one staff incharge of cashier and serving us food. Maybe my reservation is early like 4pm so there is one staff only. Since there is only a few customers in the restaurant, i think the service crew can do extra mile by asking the customer if the food is ok and need anything else.

avoid lunch and dinner crowds and you won't have to wait for a table. we were there before 12 noon and the service is pleasant.

This was the first time I tried Tonkichi at this branch. Food was average.. I much prefer the food at Tonkichi Shaw Centre which seems fresher and more flavourful.

It was my partner's first time ever eating Japanese tonkatsu, and the waitress was very patient and helpful to explain the menu to us. The food was delicious and we're sure they use high quality ingredients. The portions were generous, and they even refilled our cabbage salad! Highly recommend.

Maybe due to weekend lunch crowd, hot teas/shredded cabbage wasnt top up promptly. We have to signal to the waiting staff a couple of times to get tea/cabbage refill. The waiting staff from our previous visits on Saturdays were more prompt (attentive). Overwall, the dining experience was pleasant.

This is one of the best tonkatsu restaurants in Singapore.

We were seated right away and the service was good. But the restaurant got noisy as the crowd came.. food was good as usual.

Came here with some colleagues from out of town who are not familiar with Japanese cuisine. Our meeting overran and the restaurant was kind enough to shift our booking an hour later, and to allow for one more person to join us. Although the menu is primarily tonkatsu, there were enough delicious vegetarian options that our vegetarian colleague did not go hungry, and we were all incredibly satisfied with how tasty the food was. The service was wonderful, we were very well taken care of and my colleagues enjoyed the top up of drinks and the cabbage side to our meal. Highly recommend!
