The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. It was rather quiet for a weekend afternoon. The food menu was interesting. There was also a promo for drinks.

The crustacean bowl was yumssss! Lots of flavour and chunks of lobster, crab, shrimp. They seem to take pride in their crustacean dishes. Try it!

Had the dinner set menu that day. The starters were good, come with 3 small portions of different food, i like the potato soup since it's very smooth. The star of the night was the beef! It was well done! (not literally) Ordered the medium rare. Like the rock salt and the sauce that blends well together with the beef. Great taste great value.

Food presentation was good; taste was just alright. Good service and overall a pretty good dining experience. The set dinners would be a good choice.

Nice place but too noise. The food is good but not fantastic. Service of dishes should be improved. We ordered the menu to share for 2 and they brought all dishes from starters and main courses at the same time. So 1) There were no space in the table to put everything and plus the main dishes were cold by the time we finished the starters which probably altered the taste.

Beef was raw despite specifying that we wanted it to be medium rare. Service was amazing and besides the steak, other food items were awesome!

Nice ambience and the staffs were polite. Service was good. Had ordered the roasted chicken. Crispy outside & juicy inside, even the chicken breast. The set menu was value for money which come with a $6 promotion cocktail /wine.

It was a Fri night where people tend to relax & enjoy their meal with couple of friends. This was where we came to Platypus Kitchen @ Bugis Junction. Their waiters & waitress were attentive & food is delicious, nice wine & cocktails with reasonable price which will not hurt your pocket.

All the while my family had brunch here during the weekends. This is the first time we had lunch during the weekdays n it was pretty crowded. However service was prompt n food still tasted good. Definitely recommended!

The food was good, especially the aburi salmon. Tried the 3 course menu and was impressed by the red chili crab sauce with mantou as the starter. Other than these two dishes, the others were passable.

Second visit here. Food here is fabulous especially the set for 2! I love the squid ink pasta and Uni caviar risotto. Service is excellent!

Tried the mac & cheese and ribeye & truffle bowl this time. Mac & cheese was comforting but the ribeye bowl was not impressive. I will still recommend the Crustacean bowl thus far and will be back to try the rest on the menu!

This is my second time back & I'm still impressed with the food as I ordered something different this time. The taste is still consistent & service is still pretty attentive.

Table was ready when my party arrived. Despite the usual lunch crowd. Service staff was availble to take our orders and food was delightfully tasty.

overall enjoyable. Though would be better if waiters can be more attentive. Throughout our 2to3 hours we only have one refill of water towards the end.

A little disappointed because of the timeliness in customer care and service, speed & quality of food served; didn't quite justify the price that we paid for the meal.

The iron cast chicken was well seasoned with thyme and garlic flakes on top of it. The service was as usual, welcoming, homely and friendly.

The presentation for the child crub buns have changed. Used to be nice crescent-shaped buns but it's been downgraded. Crab/sauce portion has been diminished too. Hopefully the rest of the dishes do not go down the as path.

It was my first time there as it was recommended by a friend. I was very happy with the friendly n helpful staff. They were very accommodating with my change of seats as I have a child n an infant in a stroller with me. The food was lovely n taste great as well. I will definitely be back again.

Responsive Waitress who ensured our glasses were always filled with water. Love that the restaurant has a birthday cake for customers celebrating their birthdays. Great delicious food! I really enjoyed the onsen egg carbonara.

Service there was really good as staffs were very attentive to details and could feel that they serve from their heart. Food wise set meals are worth it.. Just that perhaps portion wise can be more standardised but overall was good everyone enjoyed!

This is my second visit with my family, overall food still good. We ordered 2 sets and a whole chicken. The truffle beef rice still the best.

Prompt service. Variety of Asian / Italian food which allows for mix and match. Variety of cocktails which is being offered. Great environment to catch up with friends

My overall experience with the restaurant is good. Their food is unique and nice. I ordered lobster bisque as appetizer. It tastes good. It is concentrated and creamy. I like the way they cooked the salmon chunks, is great and managed just the right taste. I love the dessert, Matcha Lava cake. The matcha is concentrated and creamy. Love it and also blended well with the ice cream. Will return to try their classic menu.

No doubt not many choices for weekday dining but dishes were chef recommendation saved us time in ordering. The desert need improvement rather boring. Will be back in weekend to try other dishes

Affordable lobster rolls at reasonable prices; didn't manage to try other dishes on the menu. Portioning was just right. Good for group gatherings and evening beers.

Food is below average, service is acceptable . Restaurant is very quiet for a Saturday afternoon lunch . Set lunch limited choice. Overall, I don't think I will visit the restaurant in the near future.

Service Staff are attentive and responsive, most importantly they know their menu! Good quality food that are reasonably priced. The ambiance is suitable for discrete discussions. Recommended for business lunches or even friendly get-together.

Overall experience was great (atmosphere, food, service), however the restaurant got busy as the night passed and we have to call the waiter and remind them several times just to our olive oil. Short of manpower on a busy Friday night perhaps? However we are thankful that they reserved a good table for 11 of us with enough privacy and space.

Food was good, birthday girl enjoyed the lunch. Just slightly disappointed that the Chilli crab mantou wasn't what it used to be. Sriracha hot wings was great tho.

Ordered spiced mushrooms, by the end of the main course it still wasn't served. Had to ask two of the staff who incidentally didn't seem to understand English. Eventually someone else came and said they ran out of it. Horrible service and the place wasn't even busy then.
