Outback Steakhouse

Comparing this to the Outback we had at Millenia Walk years ago, the food quality and atmosphere now is quite lacking and disappointing. We wont come back again.

They mixed up all of our sides. And there is a lack of staff, thus service was not very good.

staff was very friendly and nice! finger was bleeding and one of the male staff gave me a handiplast and i forgot to take my laptop as well, went back aft 30mins and realised the staff kept it safely for me!!

We always have good impression with outback marina square previously. Due to their closure, we went over to orchard gateway. At first the staff service and appetizer (volcanic shrimps) were damn good. But when the main dishes came in, its quite a disappointment. We order a porterhouse, medium rare and a pesto with grilled fish. My wife wanted spicy asian pasta but it's unavailable so she changed to pesto pasta. The porterhouse is too chewy and undercook. Almost like rare. I had a hard time cutting the steak. The pesto pasta is dry, the fish is burned and taste bitter. We thought it will be as good as the previous restaurant but to our disappointment. We spent about 120+ for these kind of standard is really disappointing.

So disappointed. Service is horrible. If I have to pay the same amount, I rather visit other steak house. The food was not so fantastic compared to the price too.

The food was terrible. Especially the steaks. We ordered 2 Ribeyes and 2 New York Strip all in medium. But every came in rare. Had to ask kitchen to redo. However, its still poorly done. All our steaks are not seasoned well, and are charred badly. Will not visit again. Definitely going to warn all our friends and families.

Staff is overwhelmed sometimes. Food is excellent. Reservations is recommended

Don’t expected too high , I’m order the New York steak medium well but when come is well done , order red wine they using the wrong glass , order cheese cake using big spoons ... no quality

We both had the steak paired with sides loaded potato and fresh greens. service was prompt. we also got a complimentary starter of bread and butter which was really good. had a good experience and would return.

Food took 20-25min to be served, which we thought was because the restaurant was crowded. But when the food was served, the steak was COLD, meaning it was left there for some time before being served to us. Will not be coming back again

The steaks we had were cooked according to how well done we specified, but were lukewarm when arrived at table. Felt like they were precooked and warmed up. The vegetables and corn-on-the-corb were overcooked and dried out. They also tasted precooked as leftovers from the lunch before

Steak quality is not up to standard, ordered medium cooked rare, onion ring oily and soggy. Don't know about other food.

Ordered medium rare but meat was quite raw. Gave the wrong sides too. Wait almost 30 min for the food.

Great service &amicable staff. The food was good. Except we found the lamb to be under marinated. You can still taste the weird meat taste. All else was fine.

The calamari is a disappointment. No taste. The steak was tough and not juicy although it is just medium. Compared to the steakhouse salad, the steak in the salad was much better. The chicken is also quite dry and not tender. Baby back ribs was ok. The serving of warm water is generous so we don’t need to keep asking for refill.

You have a complete misunderstanding of how to cook and serve steak I have eaten in many Outback steak houses in several countries including USA, Saudi Arabia Hong Kong and Singapore this is the worst I have had the misfortune of eating in, it was an embarrasment for my guest and you should be thoroughly ashamed of this place. Please publish this review or I will.

Restaurant was empty but service staff not attentive. Repeated food order and yet can forget to key in one of the order. Even by serving all the dishes, none of the staff realized there was one missing until we asked them. Our friend had to wait another 15 mins when the staff said 4 mins and when his food arrived, the rest of the table had finished eating. All staff were gathering at the bar counter but none standing around our area to provide service. Fish was salty and beef was tough even though it was medium doneness.

We went with the Entertainer offer so the meal became pretty affordable. Loved the salmon especially. Staff were quite patient too. Not a bad experience after all.

There is a lack of staff for so many customers. Food was good but the plating was poor as it doesn't look so appetite how they presented it.

Really poor service. Tried to get the 7 available staff to help ya with our order but they ignored. Won’t be returning. Did not even rembemer that I requested for a birthday cake.

I used to be a frequent patron until the outlet at mwalk was closed down. The quality seems to be going down over the years. The Alice chicken portion used to be huge but now it's reduced by half and not worth the price. The taste is more or less still there but previously it was nicer. The ribeye is still juicy but the flavouring is not as tasty as before. On a sat night it was also at all crowded. Overall for the price paid of $90 for 2 mains that we had it's not worth it and we won't be going back again sadly.

Too pricey for the taste and quality of food. I was expecting much better since its known, my family want to try something special for our christmas dinner - but the taste of food is far from normal resto. Astons and hot tomato’s steak taste a lot better, theirs is rather bland and chewy. Their brownies with ice cream is so sweet that I cant even have 2nd bite. And for the sides, non’s remarkable to remember. Not returning anymore.

We ordered 3 steaks but the meat quality were not good. Very sinewy. One of us even think it is possibly glued meat as the grains were running incoherently. For a steak house, poor meats are a no no.

service was alright. Main dish serving is slightly less, could be more. Brownie dessert was too sweet to our liking. Overall not a bad experience.

the steak was good at medium well. However the service takes a bit to long to serve foods and waiting time was a bit to long.

Cozy place, not so crowded, food serving size suit small eater, especially like their bread and pork chop, nice place to go with friends

Food was tasting and well portioned. Drinks was not that great considering the amount they are charging. Waiters were polite and attended well. Overall experience was good.

My family and I (4pax) didn't have a good experience this time. Our online booking wasn't on record at the reception. The waiters were hardly interested in taking our orders even though there was only a handfull of customers at that time. No cutleries were given until we requested for them. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the outlet to others. Thks

They were severely understaffed. Only 3-4 wait staff for a full house restaurant with a long queue outside. And not only that, almost every table had one of their orders wrong. There were many angry diners that we heard raising their voices. What’s worst is, can you believe they ran out of French fries? How could a restaurant run out of something basic like French fries!?!? And they conveniently replaced it with coleslaw for me without even informing me that they ran out of fries and without even asking what I wanted in place.

The food took a really long time to arrive, and the steak was very tough. The service was alright, though the waiters could have been faster.

Complimentary honey bread was out of stock, but the staff never told us before we asked. Had to wait for so long to be served drinks, dishes and even bill check!! Will not visit again.

Booked a reservation for 2 paxs specially for their Porterhouse Steak but upon ordering then informed that it’s not available. Utterly disappointed as was not informed way earlier. In the end ordered their housesteak and premium cut steak and a drink which cost $100+. Steak not worth the value, meat was so rare and not appetizing. Though ambience was good but very disappointed with the food served
