Been going to Kuro M. for few years for our annual LNY lohei, never disappoints but this year the sashimi lohei platter is a tad underwhelmed - quantity of sashimi slices and variety of vegetables accompanied with the platter is ‘lacklustered’ - due to inflation? Their usual menu offerings are fine though... .Doubt my gang will return for next LNY..

The otoro simply melted away .. delicious. Our number 1 choice for fresh sashimi. Always generous with awards redemption. Full during lunch, and our table was quite close to the counter seats. Had 1 table that talked rather loudly while other customers were talking quietly ... just our luck.

The sashimi Omakase was not available. Staff informed the shipment did not arrive. We ordered the alternative maguro sashimi. The replacement item for the brain tasted like plastic. The other maguro items were fine.
