Rather upscale peranakan place with pricey items and fancy service.

We used the burrple set menu and to be honest the quality of the food does not justify the price. There are better Peranakan restaurants in Singapore.

Went to have real Nonya food and was not disappointed. Fantastic rung dang curry with excellent flavours and a tasty, subtle pork/crab soup. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely go again.

Would recommend to try sambal sotong as it was the best. Staff were not very friendly which did not provide a pleasant dine-in experience. A few of them pulled a long face during our dine in there.

Generally, the food is good. Unfortunately, we can only sit outside the restaurant just opposite the escalator as there was a function event. The environment hence is not as good as expected.

Overall a good experience with nice food. Most were hits and in particular the best ngoh hiang I've had in a while.

We had booked for a seating at 6 pm before a play at Wild Rice Theater and arrived wondering how we could eat dinner when we had a late lunch and were feeling full...but when our orders arrived, the smell was so good we immediately forgot we were feeling full just a while ago! And we had a hearty meal of all that we ordered - ngoh hiang, chicken wings, bakwan kepiting soup, Sayur lodeh and nasi ulam. We only wished we had room for desserts...which made us all agree that we had to return to Godmama some time...

Went there at 1030am, cafe was empty. Love the dry laksa, waiter was polite and attentive to top up water. Ayam buah keluak was not our kind of food; too salty - should be paired with white rice.

Was pleasant over all as my friend and I dined at 1.30pm which was outside of peak hours. The service staff was very generous in giving us a beautiful carrier bag when we wanted to take away the leftover meal.

The staff service was excellent and the food.l was delicious. Staff was able to describe and explain the background of the dishes. Will visit again.

WILL not go back to dine. Did not meet our expectations of peranakan food even though it is supposedly modern peranakan.

This is my second time and I prefer the meat dishes over the vegetable ones. They're sauced well and fairly proportionate to the prices. Would love to try the cocktails next time!

Had a wonderful time with friends at Godmama. The food was wonderful and was a delight to our tastebuds. It was a great place to chat and catch up.

Food was average, standard seemed to have dropped since the last time we went. I originally wanted the hae bee hiam pasta, but was told that it was unavailable. Odd. Also, we ordered the wings for my son to try. It was too salty and the portion size was too small for everyone to share. Worst thing was, I asked a waitress if there was anything special for mother's day. To my dismay, her reply was a flat "no". Something the restaurant should work on, is customer satisfaction. Since the customer has expressed interest, it will be best for the staff to be more forthcoming in terms of fulfilling the request spontaneously. Service 101.

Nice traditional baba nyonya / peranakan food with a modern touch. Good for first timer.

We had early dinner, not crowded. Only 4 choices for dessert.

Great reservation and pre-arrival experience, communication via WhatsApp was prompt, food and service were excellent. Only outdoor seating was available and that was very comfortable. Had the pre-theatre menu, the buah keluak chicken and gravy was really good (would be good if it came with a mini spoon). The dessert Pulot Hitam Panna Cotta was an interesting combination and presentation. Overall a great experience for a pre-theatre dinner with friends.

We had ngoh hiang, chicken wings, beef rendang, babi pongteh, nasi ulam, bakwan kepiting, and pulot hitam panna cotta. Service was good and every dish was excellent. Compliments to the chef. Highly recommended.

There wasn’t a choice to decide upon booking whether we wanted indoor or outdoor. The good thing was that the restaurant called to check whether we were ok but this work could be minimized if the app? provided this option. By the time they called, we didn’t have time to research or look for another location. The food was average sadly and did not correspond to the google reviews it received. The chap chye that I ordered wasn’t cooked well and it was rather expensive at $15 for cabbage. Overall, just worth visiting once.

The Outdoor space was good for a private dining experience. The food was good and prices reasonable. Will certainly return and also recommend to our friends and family members. Caroline

Service and food were good, although it was slightly too noisy for two persons to talk.

My first time. Friend had dined here before. We ordered the ngoh hiang, otak, beef rendang, chap chye & herb rice. Sticky date as dessert. Only disappointment was the otak, otherwise a good dinner with good service on a theatre night. Will be back. 👍🏻
