Shabushabu is so nice. I would like to increase Menu list .

Ordered the cold udon and soba with tempura sauce. Both are nice. Staff were helpful also.

A japanese restaurant that takes pride in the quality of their dashi. They are currently running a promo for their 5th anniversary and their A5 wagyu is at half price. Great value for an amazing quality of meat that is otherwise too expensive.

Went with an expectation for a good dashi stock for hotpot. It was good as expected! I ordered Japanese pork belly course, the stock was a little salty for me but Overall it was good. I will go back again.

The Food is very nice especially pasta with dashi soup.

The inside of the restaurant is comfortable with a calm atmosphere. Satisfied with "Iberico Shabu Shabu Salad", "Katsutoji". When you sit down your seat, you should order "Taberu Katsuobushi" and drink. it fits with sake.

Nice atmosphere and staff were all very friendly. Food was authentic and sliced bonitos matched very well with dishes served. Recommended for those who wish to try some good Japanese cuisine.

Great service good food. Definitely recommend the A5 grade beef. Would be nice to have more vegetables with the Shabu shabu. Will visit them again.

Healthy food, service, and location are excellent but only price is high side for dinner. I want to come back for set lunch next time.

Loved friendly staff, good authentic Japanese dashi used for their food. :-) They serve relatively quick and my children were so happy they ate A LOT!!

The soup and udon are really really tasty - premium grade dashi stock which is clean, clear and yet punchy with flavour. The udon is chewy with good bite. Tempura is excellent. That said, the udon a la Carte portion is way too small for the price, and we would have found it very expensive were it not for the one for one on entertainer. Larger noodle portions and tempura pieces would be more value for money.

Excellent A4 Wagyu beef and pork shabu shabu! The Dashi is really good. The pudding with the house special sauce is really interesting. Love it!

Good food and pleasant environment, staffs were very friendly and polite. One set back, parking is a issue, No public car park. Will go again given the choice.

It was so not new nice, especially some dishes using dashi. Especially I recommend to eat Udon or Ramen at final stage. I think this is the most reasonable restaurant in Singapore.

Taste and food quality is nice. And, I feel some of food price is over charge and not many food menu item. If who are going to dinning, for food, the restaurant is more bar(drink) item.

It was so nice “Daishi” taste and is kind of typical Japanese Izakaya. I used several times and Saka can keep for three month.

Marusaya isn't only Japanese traditional style restaurant but is specialized in dashi soup which is the most important item for traditional Japanese cuisine like Chawan Mushi, dashi maki tamago, oden and shabshab. You must try dishes which includes dashi and had better remember that Sashimi or Sushi is different from those categories.

Ambience was excellent. Staffs were very polite. Food was of great quality but wish that the portioning will be given a little more. However, i am disappointed by the dessert as i was hoping for a Japanese type of dessert rather than western type.

Food is fresh, good quality and tasty. The house speciality Tamago egg rolls is yummy. Also enjoyed the grilled squid and dashi beef. The highlight would be the shabu shabu with its flavourful broth served with high grade beef & pork and ending with a porridge.

Attentive service by staff. Manager could be friendlier. Food is of high quality and fresh, but slightly on the higher side. Lunch sets are quite value-for-money (e.g. A5 Wagyu beef shabu shabu for $38+.

Their service was good for us. And food was good, especially hot pot. We enjoyed our dinner time. We are looking for going to there next time.

The food was really good, atmosphere was awesome. Knew of this restaurant through ordering UBER Eats in the area and the dashi stock was so good in the oden and chazuke that we had to come once! Food was so heartwarming. Highly recommend the agadeshi tofu, dashi ramen, salmon chasuke and the oden moriawase! Great to order in if you’re having a staycay in the area too because the food is really good for delivery standards! Wish it could deliver to Jurong 😭

Good services ! There were some trouble in wet towel, but foods were delicious and services were satisfied level. Like to revisit there again. Hope it will come soon.

Food was above average but service was shoddy and wait times were extremely long. Had to request staff to refill water tea multiple times.

Great service. Food was awesome! Very delicate taste. Couldn’t tell is MSG-FREE. The dashi is tasty and one of a kind - can’t seem to find a better one than this in Singapore
