Food was not bad but a little too salty for my liking!

I was there together with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The service crew is good and friendly. The food is great and has a generous portion. However the restaurant does get a little noisy during their busy hours.

Good food and service, although staff knowledge of menu could be improved further.

Real French Bistro ambiance centrally located. Tasty authentic local French Specialities. A Good wine selection. Some staff need more training. To recommend for business and familly luncheons and dinners.

Great reasonable lunch in Singapore. We went there for friend's birthday lunch. I requested and informed it in advance when I booked. Sadly, waiter/waitress forgot the request.

Excellent vine, very good steak frite and gorgeous fondant au chocolat. It recreates the atmosphere of the bistrots of Paris. For the evening, I feel like I was back in France (except the servers are locals and it is a bit too cold).

Was there for lunch along with family and yet again the experience was amazing! The lamb-shank and duck confit stood out tall! Service was impeccable.

We celebrated my husband's birthday with our 5 months old son, and we had a great time. The food was good, the staff friendly and helpful. I have pre-empted them that it was my husband's birthday, and the dessert came with a candle and a birthday wish. The environment was a bit noisy though, so if you are looking for a quiet ambience, this is not the place!

Food was generally good. Their set lunch is certainly good value.

The food in the restaurant was alright. I think it is too expensive for the quality. We're in love with the atmosphere when we first stepped in but as the night becomes later, the whole restaurant became unbearable noisy that we couldn't even hold a small conversation without getting interrupted. The service from the waitress wasn't the best. The waitress doesn't even smile when serving and seems like they are really fast in clearing our plates when we are finished. It gave us the feeling that they want us to get out of the restaurant as fast as we could. It is also a bit uncomfortable that they kept looking at us we are eating. They should improve on their service. Overall, I think I will go back to the restaurant if I am nearby but not specifically go to the restaurant with a reservation.

Lovely food, authentic ambience, great service. Love the terrines and duck confit. Stews are great as well. Don't miss the soufflé!

The bistro is relatively busy even on a weekday evening. We had the usual french classics like escargots (a little too bland), pan seared foie gras (nicely done), duck confit (delicious) and lamb shanks (just ok). We also had the classic french desserts like the Gand Marnier Souffle which is really good! Ambience is ok but can get rather noisy and staff is quite attentive.

Excellent food and service. We were there for a business dinner and the waitress helped two of my colleagues with specially made vegetarian dishes that were not even on the menu.

Quality food, very delicious. A pity the atmosphere was too noisy and crowded, place was too packed. Customer service was so-so... After collecting our payment, nobody thanked us or walked us out; I thought it's the basic customer service standard. They were fast to refill our glasses and bread though.

The truffle fries were amazing. It's those kind that the truffle smell is really strong and overpowering and yet pleasant when you chew them in your mouth.

My wife and I had dinner here on our anniversary. We had for starters the escargot on bone marrow, for mains a lamb shank, and poulet, and for dessert a souffle. Very pleased with the quality of food, which I would expect no less considering the price. The french cafe ambience was also charming, and the staff were attentive.

Second time here. Awesome food and service as always. The only dish that was a little disappointing was the ratatouille. The steak was perfectly done.

Service is good but food is average. Price for that kind of food is slightly high. I ordered the chicken with the stewed tomatoe and scuosh s ouch...chicken drum is good but the breast was over cooked. The tomato and scouch scouch were meshing and not tasty. But the golden snapper was good though. But the accompanying vegetables were messy.

we dined here with a very large group and the restaurant was able to handle it well. the food was great and ambiance of the restaurant adds a touch of authenticity as a french bistro. i would recommend it to anyone craving classic french food. we were only put off by the waiter who took our order as he wasn't helpful the whole night.

The bistro had good food and service. Comfortable ambience. I highly recommend the pear dessert. However they could have been more prompt in serving out the food. We had a great time overall.

Good authentic French onion soup & pan fried snapper with spinach. Good value lunch set. But notice most prices have gone up today & some items taken off the set lunch. Sad

Nice menu options. Lovely setting. Attentive service. Wine is a bit pricey, but to be expected given its location. They offered the set lunch menu on Saturday, so that is a plus.

I was there with my team of 10 pax for lunch. We pre-ordered our 3-course lunch menu and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The service was fast and attentive and the lunch went on very smoothly. The food was great and very flavorful without being loaded with too much salt or other artificial enhancers. The overall experience was great and would come back again.

We have been here several times. Each time, the food is great and the service is impeccable. The serving staff tops up my water promptly and are never intrusive.

I've been frequently Bistro Du Vin for over seven years, and I love how the quality of the food has stayed consistently good over the years. Lovely ambiance too. Highly recommended.
