Good food and ambience We had a wonderful food and wine experience , the wife and I It was a relaxed casual weekend and we truly liked it
Had a small bday celebration there last week. Is it a casual dining restaurant with great food, relaxing environment & the service was excellent. Highly recommended!
Food was good, as expected. The French onion soup was yummy and a generous portion and the duck was a little tough inside but the skin was wonderfully crispy. Pity there was no simple fruits for dessert as we could not eat any more for lunch. Reasonable prices and convivial atmosphere for lunch with colleagues, most enjoyable, thank you!
Food was good. We had a total of 5mains such as the duck confit, beef, cod, and truffles. The mash potato was great. Food portion pretty generous. Area felt alittle stuffy after a while
Good service, variety of menu, nice ambience, accessible location, reasonable pricing, quality food, attractive interior space decoration with high finishing workmanship, acceptable lighting and music at the restuarant.
Bistro du vin never disappoints with their superb food quality and service! It has always been my go-to restaurant for celebrations of any kind! Great place!
Quiet ambience and good service. Great option for a private get together for business or with family. Tried the Le Streak Frite on recommendation of a friend and it was tender and very nicely done. Will certainly return to try the lunch menu someday.
Was there for dinner and birthday celebration. Nice ambience, friendly staff. Food is nice too! Recommended for small gatherings. Cheers to the nice nice place.
Very good food, never fails to deliver palate pleasing dishes in a very warm ambience. Service could be faster but then again it's a full house!
Seat is a bit tight could not place my bag, appetiser is salty, main course is average, dessert is superb, overall ambiene is nice my girlfriend enjoyed it
Fantastic value set lunch! Sizeable portions unlike many French places. Duck confit was perfection but beef bourguignon wasn't as tasty as it looked. Chocolate tart was a fabulous way to end the meal.
The bone-in steak was not as good as before. Iberico ham was not nice. But the normal steak, onion soup are still as good. Would return again for the food!
The food portion is generous and yummy. We had the set lunch which is a really good deal at $35 (including coffee or tea). Service was ok.
Food is yum! We enjoyed the le steak frite and tenderloin special. Onion soup was also good. However, service standard was so-so, waiter was condescending. Go there only for the food!
Excellent French bistro food at very reasonable (lunchtime) prices. The foie gras ravioli is superb, as is the perfectly cooked duck confit and creme brulee. Service efficient and attentive without being obtrusive. Always a pleasure dining by ourselves or as we were today with our two young daughters.
Very good duck confit Would have given 6 if not that it's a bit salty Although I do have lighter taste buds than others Will come again for sure :)
Very friendly staff, nice ambience. Good place to chill out for a casual french dinner. We ordered foie gras, onion soup , escargot, iberico pork ,black cod fish and a creme brulee. Food was fanstastic!!!
Good food and friendly service. Extra charges on quite a few of the set lunch options makes the overall value not so good. The ribeye for example is a whopping $15 extra, almost 1/2 the price of the lunch express.
The food was great! Loved the escargots - which to me is rare to find good ones in SG. Ambiance was delightful too and quite quaint.
The French onion soup was excellent, as was the beef cheek. Only thing is that the tables were rather small and packed close together, so it felt very cramped.
Food was good. High quality French bistro fare, but nothing particularly unique. Decent value for price. Service was friendly and slightly above avg for Singapore.
Great onion soup! Always the place to go for good Onion soup with plenty of cheese as topping. Mains were expensive in my opinion $38 for half spring chicken / duck confit in a bistro when it is usually less than $30 elsewhere. They were 90% full though so best to make reservations.
Easy going comfortable place with reliable comfort food and agreeable pricing. Tables are pretty darn close together, and the restaurant can get quite loud, but overall a great, value-priced experience.
Food is mediocre at best. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Place is warm & cozy though. I wouldn't recommend a visit unless ambience is the primary factor.....
Nice ambient, nice food and friendly staffs... will recommend to my friend if they have craving for french cuisine..will come back again...we will see you soon
Quiet environment and attentive staff. The food is generally good although I must say the duck is relatively salty and the mesh potato is cold
Friendly service and homely stews. Food portions are generous and value for money. Location in the centre of Orchard Road also makes it an accessible restaurant.
The interior is very French: warm and welcoming. The food is yummy and the portions are filling. Add a nice bottle of wine and you have a great dinner.
Nice food. I like the duck confit. Soup is yummy too
The food was very good, price was reasonable and the service was very good. The environment is nice and the partnership with HSBC is excellent, can save 15%
one of the best bistro in Singapore , authentic French taste ,high quality, professional and committed managers and staff, and a very good atmosphere. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a French taste
Cost atmosphere and good service. We really love the warm bread served with generous butter! Goes well with the pate. Definitely a place that we would go to again. Thank you for the service.
We had a lovely lunch! The food was very good indeed, the baguette is to die for, the ambience was like any Paris Bistro you would lunch at and the pricing is just right. Can't wait to go back!
Good value for money at Bistro du Vin in Singapore. Best beef cheek in Singapore. Great chocolate lava cake. Service a bit erratic but fair.
great ambience. great food. speedy service. tried le porc and it was delicious! great food worth the price!
The food was very nice with awesome ambience. I felt as though I was entering a real café in France. I love their desserts especially!
Very attentive service staff. Food is always good and generous serving. Dessert is a must, love the chocolate fondant!
Best Coq Au Vin I have ever had! Great experience.
The place has great ambience, the food is of good quality and definitely value for money as its portions are really big, the service staff is very attentive too.
Food is good and set lunch has a decent spread and variety to choose from. Ambience is nice for a quiet lunch. Recommended for business and small groups.
Very good pork and duck confit. The French onion soup and foie gras starter is perfect. There's hsbc credit card promotion 15% discount. Reserve before going
Not much beats a good dinner with a fine wine in great company. The atmosphere was brilliant as well. Overall highly recommended and very happy to go again for a 4 or 5 time
Excellent food and desserts. This place never disappoints every time
The overall experience was great, the food quality and the service was excellent.
Cosy restaurant great for date nights and also intimate gatherings. Was there with three other friends and we agree that the food (even the bread) was fantastic. We will recommend the onion soup (love the cheese in it), beef cheek (great flavour) and cod fish dishes.
Love the ambiance and service. Ordered an Escargots to share, a Le Confit de Canard and a Joue de Boeuf Braisee, paired with a red wine and a white wine. Beef was slightly salty but overall it was a really good meal. Will definitely come back again.
Casual dining with nice food, good service and warm ambience. We had an enjoyable experience. A restaurant which we would definitely like to visit again.
Bistro du vin is as good as ever. We always enjoy the consistency in service and food quality. One of the best lunch sets in town.
Service staff were very good even though the bistro was full house. While waiting for my lunch companion, the Malay waitress took the initiative to serve me complimentary warm bread and water. We left the bistro at around 3.15pm, perhaps way past the service staff working hours. However, all the service staff was very patient and professional. When we left, there were possibly around 8-10 more patrons at the bistro.
Slightly overseasoned food made up with big portions and great service. Great value for money and suitable atmosphere for casual work lunches. Desserts also saved the day.
