Tried the set lunch - great food - tried the Foie Gras and the steak, both were excellent! Dessert was ok, we tried a few - good but nothing really stood out. Service was not to the standard I would expect for this type of restaurant- prefer to have knowledgeable, professional wait staff.

Amazing restaurant: Pasta of the day was penne and clams and incredible. Highly recommend! Reservation on weekend definitely recommended, unless earlier in evening.

We spent out Christmas‘s Eve dinner at Bar-a-thym. We had a lovely dinner. Good quality and good presentation of each dish. In addition, as I do not eat meat the chef prepare different option for me. We did have a great time. Merci beaucoup!

Great food especially the pasta and beef mains. Starters were good, not memorable. We enjoyed the evening with fantastic wines and champagne.

Reasonably priced with good quality ingredients and good service from the wait staff.

The steak is good here and it location is very convenient. Not noisy and crowded which mean I can enjoy the conversation with fds there.

Value for money lunch set menus, well presented and Francois was so delightful to chat with!

Service is excellent. Appetisers and main courses great. There are seasonal specials off the menu. Dessert options could be improved. Otherwise a good time was had by all. It’s a little noisy but a relaxed vibe. Will be back.

As the servers recommended, their pork tenderloin special and the volnay to go with was delicious!! Service was good yet not intrusive. Only downside was that it was kind of warm where we sat (need stronger AC). Spent approx $290 for 2, with 5ish glasses of wine, 2 appetisers, 2 mains and a dessert. Will be back. Keep it up guys!

WE LIKE THIS RESTAURANT. THEY HAVE VERY NICE FOOD AND GOOD WINE AND THE RELAXING AMBIANCE! THEY COULD INCREASE THE "FINESSE" OF DESSERTS ON LUNCH MENU.

Great food, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Service was good. The menu is great. Would highly recommend to try deserts as they have their in-house pastry chef that will surprise you.

Small mussels from French were very very good. French couple sitting next to us ordered 2kg (!) with french fries. Unbelievable. We have taken Omakase, chef's choice. every dishes were good, and the portion was just right.

Bar a Thym was recommended by a friend. I was there once before but first time brought my own guest there. As always, it was great food and attentive staff. The mussels are the must-have. Unfortunately, my friends were enjoying the reunion too much that they were laughing and talking quite loud. I felt sorry that the owner had to tolerate us.

We love the place . Casual French so it was a very comfortable setting . Food choice was left to the chef and it definitely didn’t disappoint . Thoroughly enjoyed the selection . Though we spent more than $800 for 6 pax , the price is reasonable given the high quality of the food . Service was excellent too! Will definitely go back there again .
