their Gemista is the best i have had in singapore! their spanakopita was bitter, so not great. rest everything we had was very flavourful- halloumi, dolmades, fava!

My son and daughter-in-law enjoyed my recommendation to Bakalaki. Is like they have gone back to Greece. They went to Greece during their honeymoon in 2015. Truly enjoyed the starters right to the lamb chops and dessert. We were also given the complimentary Greek yoghurt to go with our sweet dessert.Will definitely dined there once again 👋👍💕

Great service, great food - the service really was exceptional

We love the warm hospitality and attentiveness of the staff at the restaurant. We also felt very comfortable with the spacious, bright and lively ambience (especially with the live kitchen view). Best of all is its food - we ordered the Meat Platter for 4 to share, Grilled Jumbo Prawns (Garida), Grilled Octopus (Htapodi), Halloumi (Grilled cheese), Pita bread with Taramosalata dip, and end of our dinner with the Mediterranean desserts ~ Baklavas, Loukoumades, Giaourti and Pagoto Vanila. Adequate portion and yummilicious! It was our first visit, but we will surely return for more.

All the food what we ordered were really delicious and served just right timing. We'll come back again for sure.

I have reminded the restaurant, 3 times, to provide complimentary birthday cake with candle for my husband’s at the end of the restaurant, however, our table waiter (an Indian guy) whom I reminded after we almost completed our main dish, did not bring out the cake. We were already very full by the time but I had to order a dessert hoping the waiter will bring out the ‘surprise’ that the restaurant agreed to provide during my booking. The waiter waited after i ordered a dessert before he brought out a cake and charged me towards the end. If your restaurant do not provide complimentary birthday cake, pls at least inform me when I book the table. Secondly

A very bright place with mostly white furnishing and cool place with many ceiling fan on top of air conditioning, food are awesome and big serving. I have ordered their signature lamp chop for the 2nd time on my 2nd patron today, well done lamp chop is still so juicy n tender, wonder how they made this possible 😍

Great food, ambience and service! The only hindrance was some water droplets falling down from the ceiling air conditioning unit.

Another excellent dinner at Bakalaki. Service was excellent and the meat platter delicious. Topped it off with tatziki, house wine, and a yummy pastry custard desert. The ambiance is very chill and relaxed, highly recommend.
