There was lipstick on one of the drinking cups. When we asked to replace the glass, we were only given an empty glass and not a replacement of the drink that had already been poured inside. Also, the waiter tried to actively downsell us on the meat platter, resulting in us not having enough food and having to re-order. Free dessert on the house was nice.

Went twice in 5 days. Excellent Mediterranean cuisine at reasonable prices. Clean, bright edgy ambience, with efficient, loving and heartfelt service.

We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary - staff there prepared two complimentary albeit small glasses of champagne for us. Food and service were impeccable, and it doesn’t burn a hole in your pockets. I highly recommend Bakalaki to anyone.

It was clouded at our visit time, but staff corrsponded to us openhearted and recommended delicious menu.

Food is always great. Unfortunately, I was sat outdoors in the far corner, which is not as good as the interior area. Service was good, although some waiters were more professional than others.

The food and atmosphere were excellent and food came out quick. However, we waited 20 minutes for our waiter to take drinks orders and had to track a waiter down every time we wanted to order anything. They only have 2 hour seating windows and we still hadn’t ordered our main courses 1.5 hours into our seating time.

Wonderful ambiance and delicious food ! Feeling if being in Grèce

This is a very popular place, Would advise to reserve before going. We ordered a meat platter and a seafood platter to share. But because the seafood platter has the same name as the type/weight of fish, the waitress mistook it as the fish only so only the fish came. But it turned out okay because we had a lot of starters as well. The platters were alright. I wouldn't say its value for money.

Bakalaki definitely set the bar high for my first foray into Grecian food with its warm Greek hospitality and excellent culinary offerings. Its bright and cosy atmosphere makes it a great place for date night or after-work dinners. Slightly high in the price range, but for such fresh and unique quality ingredients, you sure won’t be leaving disappointed.
