Thinking about making a Yummy Punjaby booking?
It’s a lonely life at sea, but a good salt breeze certainly whets the appetite, and
no one knows this better than the proprietor of Singapore’s Yummy Punjaby
(nicknamed YP). This ex-merchant navy captain dreamed of his mother’s home
cooking when he was at sea, and the time he spent learning her secret 15-spice mix
and the craft of the northern Indian curry from her. Taking this knowledge, this dream
with him to sea, the captain eventually washed up in Singapore. Here, Yummy
Punjaby’s admiral-cum-chef is pleased to deliver delicious, spicy Punjabi cuisine to
Singapore’s multinational community.
Located on Pahang Street, Yummy Punjaby offers a buffet or a la carte selection
of meat and vegetable parathas, delicious butter chicken and chicken tikka dishes,
alongside a refreshing drinks menu. Yummy Punjaby also has a loyalty programme
called Star Meals, whereby diners can claim a complimentary YP meal after 10
meals as well as cheap dessert and drinks top ups.
