The carrot cake is really so delicious. Keeps one craving for more.
Great food, but should note that only alfresco seating area is available.
some are better than others for food. good value when having a discount.
Quiet place to do your work, contemplate about life with coffee.
Love their cakes and outdoor seating in a quaint green corner
Quite a few mosquitoes but the pull pork salad was great!
Pizza was below expectation. The dough is poorly prepared. Salad satisfactory.
they do not have some wines that we wanted. and no pizza around 8plus. Food generally is tasty and service is pretty good
Nice and friendly staff. Will return for brunch again. ◡̈
Food was great and waiting time is not too long. Very cosy environment as well!
Went there to celebrate my mum’s birthday. Regretted with the mediocre experience - heaps of mosquitoes in that area first of all. Secondly, the wait staff informed of 1 main course item being unavailable prior to order and in order to use 3 entertainer vouchers for 6 adults - 3 items had to be main course menu items. It was after our orders had been taken that the wait staff came back to inform that 2 more menu items were unavailable (1 main course and a burger item). My husband expressed disappointment upon being told that and we requested for more flexibility with the menu as such ie can we select any item from menu given more limited options instead of restrictive clause that “3 of 6 items needed to be from main course selection”. The wait staff claimed to be unable to make that call and also unable to contact his boss to clarify after some attempt. We understand that perhaps there’d been some miscommunication with the chef as to items unavailable for the evening however felt that the wait staff could have been more polite and apologetic in his explanation. In addition, my pasta which i specifically requested to be less salty was still very salty. They did attempt some service recovery by offering complimentary vanilla ice cream to accompany our desserts for all parties present in view of earlier order inconveniences which we appreciated however overall experience left a negative impression and we will not be returning. Looks like the business is a sinking ship - it was only my family there for the whole evening.
raining. no proper parking place near the restaurant. guests got wet on the way there. small kitchen. waiter and chef cannot keep up with orders. main courses arrive before starters. sadly, not recommended. food quality decent.
When we reached the restaurant my name isn’t in the list even though someone called me to confirm my reservation. Ended up looking for a diff place nearby.
ambience is good, but was a bit warm when i went. Ordered roasted chicken leg with mashed pumkin, the taste is average; chicken is a bit dry, matching with mashed pumkin did not elevate the taste.
Nice ambience. Ordered the salmon fillet & the chicken leg. Fish was fine though the chicken leg was little dry. Would try the other dishes again.
A very pleasant ambience tucked away behind a Tudor styled detached house. This open air bistro style restaurant is cosy and has 1 for 1 beers during happy hours. Easy parking in nearby Hdb multi-storey car park. Ask for off the menu Chef specials
Very nice ambience. Good variety of selection. Not crowded. We were the only ones there at the beginning. Good place to have an office lunch on a weekday.
We had a great time at Thyme@Rochester. It is a cosy place, with a small play area for my toddler. And the owner (I think he is the owner) was kind to give my toddler an additional piece of bread when my friend dropped hers on the floor. Great place, great food!
Food is average... The pasta we ordered was too spicy and chicken sandwich is very plain. surrounding not as it appears. Very basic set up.
The food was ok. The beef bourguignon was way too salty but the other dishes decent. Server was helpful to light the candle and turn off the fans as we had a little birthday celebration.
A very small cozy restaurant tucked in the corner of Rochester. Good food and nice scenary. Lovely cozy spot surrounded by greenery. Unique and delicious pizza dough.
quite romantic and good food. will come back if nearby
Very quiet (in a good way). Went for a Sunday lunch and no one else was in the restaurant. Food served was alright, but not great.
Wonderful food , wonderful service. Do try their Spaghetti con Gamberi ( Prawns Spaghetti ) , Boeuf a la Bourguignon ( Beef Bourguignon) , Chicken Leg with pumpkin mash .
Quiet and serene. Very much like Dempsey but smaller. Food is of good quality. Service is friendly and excellent. Not many choices to the menu though. Will definitely go there again.
Thyme was a lovely place and it was very worth it with the Entertainer App as well! Good food too so it was a great experience (:
A newly opened joint, with a quaint al fresco dining style and a small playground, perfect for families with young children. We had the salmon and the beef bourguignon, beef was tender and the red wine reduction went very well with it. Salmon was a tad overcooked for our liking but still delicious.
Quiet place with good ambience. Very few people there. However we were bitten by mozzies. The choc cake was good and dense. Not too sweet. Recommended for ordering.
Food was fine, not fantastic though, place was a little hard to find and quite out of the way. Service was good and friendly but felt kind of fake. Great atmosphere.
Thyme @ Rochester was a lovely experience! The smoked duck and mushroom pizza was delicious and the chicken confit was good as well! The owners were really friendly and we felt welcomed (:
Good food at reasonable prices, friendly staff who took the time to explain to us recommended items on the menu. Will probably go back there again
