The Mind Cafe - Board Games Cafe

One of the newest game I. E. Coup was quite fun. Ambience is OK if you get seats that are in a separate room. They should always have someone at the counter because no one was there for 5 minutes and their people were mainly at the pantry. Other than that, game masters were friendly, service was good ultimately. Price was also reasonable.

A great hangout with friends for games and a fun ambience to soak in! The staff are friendly as well so do not hesitate to approach them for any game recommendations.

Staff were courteous, ambience was generally positive. I would recommend having more staff stationed among the tables to attend to customers, who will usually request for more snacks/ drinks.

We had a group of 15 people there, it was a big group and the staff arranged for us to all sit together. They went above and beyond and did it with a smile :) we all had a great time because of them. Thank you!

The cafe has many boardgames available! Most importantly, the helpers there are very enthusiastic about teaching us the games that we don't understand. Overall, great experience!

The experience is very good with my family. The staff is very helpful and patience in explaining us the rules for new games and refilling of snacks and drinks are fast.

Booked for the wrong day buy staff was helpful to change the dates on the spot. Games there are sufficient and will definitely return with friends.

Staffs were friendly. Taught us how to play certain interesting games. Service was efficient. Drinks and snacks were refilled promptly after requesting. Service oriented gives consumer warm feeling to wanting to go back again.

Very good, enjoyed the time with group of friends at mind cafe Dhoby. Only thing which could be improved is the time taken for the drinks and food to arrive. The rest were all ok 👌

Made reservations and was a little late (tried to call the hotline to inform but apparently it's just a voice recorded operator). Thankfully they still kept our reservations! Staff were helpful in explaining the games to us.

It was good overall. I dislike the option that we can't just sit there and order drink but does not participate in any games .

Ease, convenience and great service :) some parts of the cafe was a little too cold though as the aircon vent was blowing directly so can request if afraid of the cold.

Service was prompt, with good waitressing and games host. Explanation was clear. Games satisfied our needs. Buffet promotion that was going on was good. Well done!

Took away the option to pay cash. Which is a bummer. And not enough staff who knows how to explain and teach games. Should teach the staffs on the games to complete the experience.

They had good collection of games. Food was also fine. Will visit again for having fun with games at Mind Cafe. On a weekend it was not very crowded in evening

Great atmosphere and is a nice place to hangout with friend or family, is also a relaxing place. The staff there are very friendly and nice. :)

Main purpose was for the board games. Good selection of group and 2 person games. Games package came with free flow snacks and drinks. Snacks and drinks were promptly topped up. Place was very noisy but inevitable I guess when there are so many groups of people playing games. Staff did not hesitate to teach games.

A nice place to spend time having fun with the family. Staff were ever helpful, always ready to explain the rules of the games. They even took the initiative to introduce games to us, seeing that we have young kids with us.

The staffs were friendly and the variety of games were wonderful.We wish there was some vegetable like salad on Thursday's all you can eat buffet.

Friendly service, good food. My friends and I enjoyed our time there. I like the food and game package promotions they had. Staff were knowledgeable about games as well.

Staff were very helpful and they attended to us frequently. They also explained the games to us when we had doubts. Overall it was a great experience

Awesome experience. Many fun games and nice food. Big space and nice furniture. Games were well maintained and interesting. Rare and common games are good.

Free flow food and drink was great. Staff were very helpful and helped to recommend games for us to play. A great place to spend an afternoon with friends.

Wait staff service was poor, kept getting the order wrong and brought the incorrect order. Hung displays of empty board game boxes was dangerous. Fell off the ceiling twice, hitting me once and a near miss for the second time. Service reaction to the accident was poor, with first staffer laughing it off and second one blaming management without offering any apology. Only one staff seemed knowledgeable about games and was the only one to make our experience enjoyable.

Nice ambience, didn't try the food so can't review on it. There are even games from childhood like pick-up stix and Uno. Went with only 2 of us, so it was quite dull.. Would recommend to go with at least 4 people.

It has nice environment. They have many games too. It would be good that they can have a bit more staff and have 4 hours package.

Fun time there, staffs were friendly. However the noise level is way too high and we hard to raise our voices to communicate because some customers were screaming, yelling and laughing too loud.

The service staff was very helpful and had good knowledge of the various board games. My son and I enjoyed playing all the games which the staff had recommended.

An alternative for hating out. Good place with good variety of board games and pricing. Staff was friendly to make learning of the games experience easier than reading the guidebook.

The service provided was excellent as the staff present are always willing to teach you how. One thing that I felt could be improved was the food as it was a little lacklustre. Nonetheless, I will definitely come back again.

It's a cosy place with a variety of games, however it tends to get rather noisy and sound reflects off the walls which made it worse.

Cafe was too noisy with a huge group shouting right beside us. Our group was so annoyed with the noise level but couldn't do much except changing seats. Even then their voices were still loud. Staff could had help to control the noise level a little.

Friendly and helpful staff. My friends and I had a great time there. There was a variety of games suitable for everyone of all ages.

Staff are friendly and helpful, pricing is quite reasonable. Probably just feel that the table can be bigger to accommodate the board game and drinks.

Overall was fun and the hourly charge wasn't too expensive. One of the staff who served us was very friendly and even took the initiative to explain a game to us without us asking. However, another person on the staff seemed quite blur throughout our stay and served us a wrong drink once. There's enough space to both play and eat. Other customers were quite noisy/rowdy which is to be expected if people are playing games.

the food there is not that nice...I ordered a lasagna and it is overcook,the bottom half of the lasagna is hardened.most of the board game is very old and when we need something the people is always not around.and there is only ONE toilet for male and female.

Another enjoyable day at mind's cafe with my friends. The staff were patient and helpful with our queries. Another aspect that can be improved on is the pricing packages. There were 7 of us, some opted for the 2hr + free drink & snacks package while some of us wanted to just have the pay by hour package (without the drinks & snacks). We were told that this was not possible and that everyone at the table has to have the same package, which was quite discouraging. This may be due to reduce the possibility of non-package payers sharing snacks and drinks with their peers.

The food is nice for a place where the main business is about games. Good service with many different types of games. We had lots of fun.

Prompt and polite service, despite the busy evening. Food and drinks arrived and were replenished quickly. Wide array of games to choose from, suitable for all ages.

The restaurant was more interesting than expected. They had funny and punny posters around the cafe. The food ordered was great! and the service provided was excellent! I love how helpful all the service staffs were. They have new games and old games and if you dont know how to play it, the staff will teach you how. One thing that bothering me was that the noise from other groups of people playing was overpowering so much so that me and my friends could not hear ourselves talking to each other. Will definitely come back here soon!

We had a fun time ☺️ Celebrated my bf's birthday there and the staff was nice and helped participate in the surprise and brought out the cake and played the birthday song for him(love that he was so paiseh) Overall it was fun

The booking was easy and fast. Excellent experience with the booking system and the cafe. Will try again with my family and group of friends next time.
