From Nirvana, Destiny’s Child and The Three Tenors in the world of music to the Three Musketeers, Charlie’s Angels and The Marx Brothers on the screen, three it seems certainly is the magic number. In fact, De La Soul were a trio too. The Good Trio in Thomson Plaza does for Chinese food in Singapore what Farah Fawcett-Majors did for hair curlers (and what Groucho did for the greasepaint moustache), with a superb menu that takes in the best from all over China. The aesthetic is simple – probably where the comparison with Charlie’s Angels ends – but when you have fresh ingredients, time-honoured techniques and skilled chefs, you don’t need to over-complicate things. Take a trip out to Thomson Plaza for a great meal Singapore.
Take a look at The Good Trio’s high tea menu! (For walk-in customers only)
cool and food is good but too bad never get the chance to taste mutton soup. the 4 person set of 98 not bad and good deal.
The signature noodles is very good.. An sure order item on almost every table.
Made a reservation for 8 and got the table upon arrival. Ordered a 9-course meal and food was not bad, especially the pumpkin prawn. Service is very good with change of plates every few dishes and refill of tea as well.
Nice food as always. Staff are friendly but procedures can be more well planned. Value for money food. Will definitely be back again to the good trio
The recommended dishes such as Deep Fried Corn Shape Fish handmade Popiah with Shredded pork were generally quite good. I particularly like the Nanping Briased Noodle. The Nutritious Stew Pot Chicken was tasteless and did not warrant the price.
Nice food. Service was alright too. Requested for 2 table but was place apart but was resolved. Would be better if we could get the two adjacent round tables.
When I reached there about 11.20am, the table was not even ready yet. Staff did not even bother to check the reservation number given to me.
