miss this place. I hope the new club house will be something like this
Really nice and cosy place. Food is good. So sad that the place has to shut down because NPark wants to take back the building.
love this place, pity that they are closed now. fantastic ambience, and food was great!
Food was amazing. Conveniently located and easy access. Highly recommended!
My husband and I went to The Dunearn for dinner and was overall very satisfied with the food and services. They have a wide selection of wine and we ordered a bottle of French Wine from CDP 2007. We ordered some Canadian oysters to try and they were very fresh. The Lobster Bisque and the Mushroom soup with Truffle were superb. We highly recommend the Wagyu Beef 8/9 and the Grilled Beef Tenderloin cooked medium rare and it was so good. I rated the noise level as average because there was a baby crying and it was noisy for about 10 to 15minutes. Otherwise it is alright.
I've always enjoyed the food at The Dunearn. It has a small cosy indoor setting and the service is excellent. I especially enjoy the Prime Rib Royale (only 7 sets available daily so best to make a reservation) as well as the chef recommended set menus. If you have time for lunch, the executive lunch set is delicious and affordable.
We are a party of 10 and we thoroughly enjoyed the Royale Prime Rib steaks- very succulent, big portion and done to our requirement (medium rare); accompanied by 2 salads including a fruit salad plus 3 sides - mashed potato, Spinach with mushrooms and asparagus with carrots n zucchini. Chempedak Creme brûlée with ice cream was delicious. The ambience was good and it was s full house for lunch. Service was friendly and good as well. Overall a value for money and enjoyable experience. It is a pity that they could not extend their lease beyond this month. Hope they find another convenient and as nice a location.
The Dunearn is a very nice and charming restaurant. The staff is attentive and the food is elegant. The prices are high and if you get their a little before lunch, the restaurant seems empty and unstaffed. Perhaps they don't open until right before lunch. Other than that, it was a great experience.
Surprising find on the NUSS campus next to Botanic Gardens. Offering both indoor seating as well as outdoor seating overlooking the gardens. We had an amazing dinner - starting with the duck liver pate, followed by the pork and cod dishes (both chef recommended). Great, great food and really good service. My only ask is for more wine options by the glass. On Thurs, Fri and Sat nights there is a local guitarist named Francisco that goes from table to table playing tunes. A nice touch.
The service was excellent, granted there were only 3 groups of diners on a weekday, which is also the reason why the ambient was much cosier and the noise level more conducive for quiet celebration. I wanted to order the festive set but was told politely that it is only offered for dinner, something I misread from the NUSS website. Nonetheless, the Prime Rib Royale was a perfect replacement. Altogether a great dining experience.
