We love Indian food and have tried a few restaurants in the east coast. This is the best one we have discovered and we revisit frequently. The food is great, be aware the portions are big. Typically my partner and I will have a starter each and then share a main course. The staff are very friendly and hospitable.
All the curry we ordered were nice!would be happy if they have more salad menu. The atmosphere was comfortable and cozy on 1st floor. We will try 2nd floor next time.
decent north Indian food at a very basic restaurant. No frills sort of establishment with good selection of dishes.
Spread over two floors, The Bazaar is a favourite lunch spot for busy locals in Singapore’s East Coast area. Visit every day of the week except for Monday to experience fresh and flavourful northern Indian cuisine with a touch of Singaporean flair or enjoy a lazy day spent at home with The Bazaar’s takeaway and delivery options. Featuring a private party hall on the second floor of its East Coast Road premises, The Bazaar is a superb location for your next celebration or corporate gathering.
On The Bazaar’s huge menu, you’ll find that there’s an Indian dish that’s perfect for just about anyone, even the littlest eaters. Bring your kids and open their eyes to a new cuisine with a malai chicken tikka wrap made just for them, or go with one of the other choices off of the creative children’s menu. Dive into mains like pindi channa (spicy chickpeas cooked with tomatoes, onions and chillies) or the fish methi malai (fish cooked with fenugreek leaves and yoghurt) before indulging in sweet desserts such as the gulab jamun (cottage cheese dumplings soaked in rose-water syrup) or a scoop of Indian ice cream. Unless you’re taking advantage of The Bazaar’s delivery or takeaway options, a reservation at this Indian establishment on Singapore’s East Coast Road is highly recommended.
