Had the lunch value set C and it was one of the best meal I had recently! The meal comes with curry chicken (1 drumstick, 1 thigh and 1 random part - VERY GENEROUS!), 3 prawn dumplings, rice with egg plus a dessert. I also added a dollar to get a cup of iced lemon tea. Very reasonably priced and I will be back to try the other set lunches!
The curry chicken set is great, comes with dessert, sides and has two large chunks of chicken! Very worth the set lunch price! Will come back again
Had the Bak Mee Ayam Pangsit and HK milk tea here. Really like the noodle dish, generous amount ingredients and mildly spicy, at the right level. Took the no sugar milk tea, and tasted really well too!
Was greeted promptly and ushered got a seat really fast. Good thing about the beverages (we had milk tea and iced coffee) was that there were no sugar options!
I always like the Tom Yum Soup served with Seafood Glass Noodle Bento Set including Satay and desserts. However, it was not worth to add $1 for Iced Lemon Tea because it totally tasteless.
My 1st time at a Streats HK Cafe outlet. I wanted something to share with my elderly mum, so I tried the claypot chicken curry with rice - it was very good! Tasty & rich but not too spicy, and quite a lot of meat - a drumstick and a thigh cut into 2, total 3 pieces, plus potatoes (looked deep fried before submerging in the curry). The rice came with pickled veg and the bitter koropok. I also ordered a kai lan stir fried with garlic, it was also very good! Crunchy but not tough, and the salt level was just nice for us with high blood pressure. We ended with lemon grass tea, which was good. Overall, the food was better than my expectations (which were not high based on friends’ comments). The cook at the Bedok Mall outlet on Tue 7Aug 2018 must be a treasure. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. We were seated immediately when we arrived. Prices are reasonable- I spent $30+ including GST. I will definitely go again to try other dishes which look interesting but our tummies were too small to try all at once. Downsides - tables are quite close together, so there’s not much privacy.
Great food and delicious and a nice spot was reserved for me and my family. We will Will come again another day with my family
The satay fried rice is good. Personally, I find their HK milk tea on the sweet side. A bit pricey. Nice sitting area and cosy environment.
