Decided to take colleagues to South & East and the meal did not disappoint. I had the chicken lunch special and it was delicious. My colleague had the salmon with laksa rice, and really enjoyed it. The meal was very reasonably priced. I’m so glad a very delicious and reasonably priced lunch option now exists on campus. It takes the best of the dinner options and makes it economical and efficient—perfect for a busy workday. Will definitely come back.

Loved the cauliflower and cabbage dishes! As a vegetarian I find that the veg options can often be a second thought in many restaurant menu but here at South&East they are a highlight! Service was prompt and friendly. NUS staff and students get a discount so don’t forget to use it!

The he food is really good there. Special mention are the grilled beef ribs and the laksa rice. The beer prices are good too. Will be back.

I have come here several times since their new launch. Every meal was great and every new guest who I introduced the place to will want to come again. Great job!

Every dish we had was amazing. We had the corn with black garlic, grilled cabbage, laksa rice, smoked cauliflower, and jeju pork dish. For dessert, we had the pandan mousse and pulut hitam cake. There wasn't a single dish I wouldn't order again. Every dish was craveable and the only reason I wouldn't reorder one of the dishes again is because I'd want to try the other dishes on the menu. My favorite was the smoked cauliflower and the jeju pork. The smokiness gave the cauliflower a real depth of flavor and the pork, which i rarely eat, and which seemed so simple, was insanely good. But I'd come back for the pandan mousse alone. I'm so glad that an accessible restaurant with thoughtfully prepared dishes is available on campus. It's a place I'd be excited to bring colleagues from out of town for delicious local flavors prepared in exciting and unique ways.

Fantastic food - feels like a great barbecue back in the US, with a lot of interesting Singapore twists. The stuff from the smoker was awesome, but all 4 of our dishes were amazing. The service was great - I'm not a huge fan of having to use a smartphone to order, but it was pretty painless, and there were lots of staff around to check in, answer questions, take away empty dishes. Best of all, they were able to squeeze us in, even though I'd made a mistake with my reservation (and booked it for a month later!)

Food was very good, unique and refreshing. The chef was able to cater to food intolerances/allergies and were very helpful. All the dishes were superb, and Matthew was very friendly and helpful in giving suggestions!

We had a family dinner last night and the food was good. It was a second visit. All the bbq dishes did not disappoint. Will recommend my friends.

Food & service both was amazing. Tasted many spice in that dishes thumbs up for bringing put the local flavor. Astonishingly good in every bite.

South & East at NUS serves delicious food with quick and easy QR code ordering. The cosy environment and nice decor make dining enjoyable. I especially love their grilled fish with coconut sauce and their French fries with curry spice seasoning.

Service staff were not friendly. Smoked beef was dry and potato salad overpriced.
