Singapore has no shortage of Thai restaurants but Siam Village Macpherson is as authentic as you can get. Taking its name from the Northeastern province of Thailand, this popular eatery serves up traditional Thai specialities and the chefs travel to Thailand to bring back the best recipes to provide diners with a true Thai experience. Located on Jalan Wangi Street, Siam Village Macpherson is a local favourite.
With its traditional decor and warm ambience, Siam Village in Singapore’s Macpherson has a homely vibe, and the homemade dishes on offer only add to this feeling. Begin your meal with thai fish cakes, some crispy pancake or a bowl of steaming red tom yum seafood soup. Then, you could move on to a classic curry like the green curry with your choice of beef, chicken or pork, or some tasty seafood like the sweet and sour garoupa or Thai-style poached prawn.
Other delicious options at Siam Village Macpherson include a range of noodle dishes – we recommend trying the pad thai! The drinks menu at Siam Village Macpherson is equally as impressive, boasting a range of mouth-watering cocktails like the signature Fuji in love (Fuji apple and watermelon) and the blue fairy (lemon and blue curacao) as well as a number of milkshakes and iced drinks. For an authentic Thai experience in Singapore, book a table at Siam Village Macpherson on Jalan Wangi Street.
Great food & great service. Nice ambience for kids too. Not so crowded on Sat. Will come back again here. Thumbs up!!!👍🏻 Highly recommended for Thai food lovers.
Good food and great service. Will come back again soon
Great service, quiet atmosphere, staff were friendly and the food is delicious! Definitely worth the inconvenient location. It's a safe bet if you go for all the signature dishes.
Food was good as usual! They might be short handed at times but definitely a go-back-to! Am looking forward to my future cravings for thai food there!
Very satisfied with the food. Price was reasonable, service fast and quality of food superber good. Will go again. Salted Egg chicken must try. Ordered sea bass sweet and sour, salted egg chicken, olive fried rice, seafood petai vege, Tom yam soup, lala, mango salad, balong long drinks, Red Ruby for 3pax cost below $100
Food was good and was fast in serving. Their service staff also delivered prompt and friendly service. It's also great that the place is now covered and has proper aircon running so it makes dining experience more pleasant.
It was very quiet when we went on a Monday evening. Ordered a red Tom Yam seafood, Basil pork, Green curry Chicken, salted egg drumlets and iced lemon grass. All were very nice and food portion was okay. $44 in total. Will come back again!
Other than the green curry which was a tad too sweet and watery, we enjoyed the other dishes such as the garoupa in lemon sauce, fried pork with garlic, and red ruby dessert. The ambience is good for casual gatherings.
Friendly staff and lady boss. Food were served promptly, taste good except fried rice not as good. Good for sharing. Location wise was slightly not convenient as car park is usually full at night around that area. Prices reasonable.
Great, food is nice, staff is friendly & attentive. Not so crowded at night compared to the branch at Serangoon. Lunch time got more customers, feel they need to increase staff.
