There are few places better to enjoy the fruits of Asian cuisine than Singapore, whether your fancy is for Cantonese dim sum, Japanese sushi masters, ethnic enclaves of Indian eateries like those found on Racecourse Road and Little India, or the hawker centres that sell a little bit of everything. Thai food has its own little niche in this maelstrom of munchies, and the big name in this field is Siam Square Mookata, a chain with locations all over the city that give a flavour of the tastes on offer in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Their address in Ang Mo Kio – on Ang Mo Kio Avenue, down the road from Ang Mo Kio train station, no less – may be in Singapore, but their menu lies in Thailand. Try out their fresh fish and seafood, their meat dishes and their tofu and vegetarian options, all suitably spiced and offered up for your delectation. Book yourself a table and make your trip out today.
Recommended place to go if you have cravings for mookata but don't feel like splurging so much. Very cheap mookata vs others, decent taste (not amazing), very fast service :)
fast service and top up soup without asking. meat is marinated well, love all the chilli sauce there!
Good food & affordable! Highly recommend everyone to try! However items per plate are a bit little but overall still one of the most affordable mookata around.
