Thinking about making a Saigon Lotus booking?

Nguyen Hien Trung, the Vietnamese-Australian owner of Saigon Lotus, has done an incredible job recreating the feeling of his hometown of Saigon in the bustling Marina Square Shopping Mall. Found on Raffles Boulevard in Singapore’s City Hall area, this labour of love is exquisitely designed to make guests feel as though they’re no longer in a shopping centre, but rather, in a peaceful oasis far from the city noise.

A family-friendly restaurant, Saigon Lotus at Marina Square in Singapore’s City Hall area invites guests to bring along the little ones to expand their culinary horizons. The restaurant’s menu is large and features a selection of entrees, salads, noodle and rice dishes, and a la carte items, plus desserts and fruit shakes. For starters, we’d recommend sharing a couple of entrees with your tablemates, like the crispy squid with salt and pepper or the hot steam rice rolls with Vietnamese ham, before you make the tough decision between favourites like fried egg with minced pork, spicy lemongrass tofu, or braised beef with onion. There’s many more where that came from, but you’ll have to check it out for yourself – reserve to secure a table!
