How’s this for a great story: football legend Esad Sejdic (who played for Serbia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and is famed for scoring the first hat trick for the Singapore league) is the founder of the original Sahara Bar & Restaurant at Clarke Quay. Over a decade later, the venture has since moved to Boat Quay to offer a relaxed Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant experience along the Singapore River.
