This quaint cafe hosts distinctive blends curated by the knowledgeable proprietors – they are serious about coffee culture, even once hosting their very own Latte Art Throwdown competitions! But there’s more than just coffee brewing here.

While coffee is certainly the centre of Rouse’s universe (and who can claim the magic bean doesn’t make the world go round?), this little Singapore shophouse cafe along Dunlop Street in Little India has big ideas. Besides hosting boutique blends like Dutch Colony Coffee Company’s De Mahkota (a 50/40/10 Brazilian, Ethiopian, Somalian blend with notes of roasted nuts, dark chocolate and summer berries), Rouse do a tricky line in cafe bites, too. Their Krusty Kari Burger with sweet Potato Fries burgers with fries are a popular standby for those in search of a hunger-busting stack, while the classic beef and portobello mushroom burger (B.O.B) is a melt-in-your-mouth mouthful that’s hard to beat.
