Hoyo De Moterrey Cigar
Established by Jose Gener in 1865, the name roughly means "Valley of Monterrey," a particularly fertile site in the Vuelta Abajo, which had been farmed by Gener since at least 1860. The brand offers a lighter flavour and a wide range of sizes, the largest of which are much celebrated.
Montecristo Cigar
The most famous of the many famous Havana brands started only in 1935 as a new brand from Menendez, Garcia y Cia, then the owners of the H. Upmann brand, Using only the best Tobacco issued from Pinar Del Rio. The name is reported to have been inspired by Alexandre Dumas' 1844 novel Le Comte de Montecristo.

Geisha
Elegant, intoxicating and soul-stirring like a Geisha. A bubbly bittersweet concoction of Roku gin, lemon juice, homemade jasmine syrup and Japanese apple-cucumber vinegar topped with a dash of Aegean tonic.

So, we mentioned that Room For More Singapore has a pretty extensive selection of whisky and cocktails. But let’s take a closer look at this Dempsey bar and it’s menu, which, quite honestly, has got us all kinds of excited. The house selection at Room For More alone is well worth a look and you’ll find Chita Single Grain; the 14-year-old Oban and a truly special 12-year-old Macallan as well as internationally-sourced wines and beers. Moving beyond the house selection, the Room For More menu is broken down into single malt; single grain; blended malt; blended whisky and a wider spirit range featuring rum, gin, vodka and more. Curious yet?
In terms of cocktails, you’ll find the perfect tipple for your taste no matter what you prefer. We love the new fashioned, made of Hibiki Harmony whisky, Angostura bitters, chocolate bitters and Gula Melaka-infused Sumatran coffee beans; geisha of Roku gin, lemon juice, jasmine syrup and Japanese apple-cucumber vinegar topped with Aegean tonic and the tempest of Frapin cognac 1270, French vermouth, Mancino Rosso and Room For More’s house bitters. No doubt you’ll need to soak some of this up so keep an eye out for the bar snacks by Atout that include char grilled pork ribs with apple sauce, sharing platters, beef sliders and crispy chicken karaage. Located in Dempsey on Harding Road, Room For More most definitely deserves a reservation.
