Lobster rolls are savory and tasty, however a single portion may not be filling. Ambience is casual and cosy. Good for small groups as seats are limited.

Nice atmosphere and food during my visit to complement with good staff service. Great dining experience and will be back again to try out other menu.

We ordered squid spaghetti, whole chicken, truffle fries and mini crab bun as well as lava molten cake with ice cream. The portion are just nice for sharing. I loved the lava cake most.

only 1 server around - difficult to get attention. but cocktail was $6 / drink all night long! We share a crustacean bowl as appetiser - very decadent & we each had a lobster roll, no complaints there. I especially liked the perfectly toasted buttery bun.

Staff was helpful but the lobster roll was really small imo. Could have been better if it was bigger

poor service. Messed up our orders; took twenty minutes to realize they forgot to take one order. But ironically when the bills came it had alrdy been charged. Will never go back again.

Service was great but the food wasn't up to expectations. Lobster was quite chewy and sort of dry though the sauce gave it a little moisture. The lobster also had a fishy smell to it

Food is good but considered quite expensive given the portion. It will be better if they are air-conditioned. The service of the staff is good. They are very responsive.

Lobster roll was good and first drink at $6 was a good deal. Will come again. If subsequent drinks also $6 would be even better!

Excellent sangria. It's just unfortunate that my first choice of sangria was out of stock, despite me going early, when they were just open for the night.

Nice place with good ambient. The food was good, loved that the portions of lobsters were pretty edible in the dishes. Cocktails were priced at $6 for the first drink. Thumbs up!

Lobster bisque was good and worth returning for. However the lobster main dishes did not meet expectations: lobster meat was tough and dry and did not taste very fresh

The lobster roll was not bad, but it was a bit cold when served, I feel the dish was not "cook". Service was really so so only. Good to try but definitely will not crave and revisit again.

Service was slow even though we were the only customers and there were at least 3 wait staff around. They were distracted talking/playing around, and billed us wrongly. Food was alright but not memorable.

Some Staffs were smoking at the entrance of the restaurants while some are sleeping , resting their head on the table when we patronise the shop . Shop was empty. When I asked about the weekend dinner set , the staff was not informed of it and told me there was no such dinner set . After clarifying twice then they agreed that the dinner set was valid. Overall staffs were polite when they served us but the points written earlier did not make the dining a pleasant experience . Hopefully the management can step it up .

First time to Platypus Lobster Shack. My friends and I enjoyed their great service with generous servings! Waiter is really friendly to help my friend to customize her order and seek the chef's for opinions. Thank you!

This place is fantastic for what it is, which is a casual place with a limited menu. The service is friendly, the food is superb, and the outdoor seating is lovely. We had the classic lobster roll and the chilli crab buns, and both were great. If you're looking for a quick, casual bite, this is your place.

Second time visiting. Ordered the Crustacean bowl, the Soju BBQ Pork bowl and shaved truffle fries. The Crustacean bowl was delicious and the honey ponzu sauce was extremely appetising. However, the Soju BBQ Pork bowl was less to my liking. Perhaps soju and BBQ pork is not my kind of thing. The service was excellent as usual, however the ambience was a little bad as everyone was chattering loudly and the restaurant blasted loud music. Overall still a pleasant dining experience. The Crustacean bowl is a must try for seafood lovers! Will definitely come again to explore other food on the menu. =)

The lobster roll was good value for money. Service is just normal as staffs seem not comfortable to make recommendations when we ask for suggestions.

The lobster roll is recommended. The meat was tender. Although cold, Flavours were brought out. The service was rather slow and poor.
