Nice ambience for communal dining but food can be improved. Friends ordered mexican food but the rice was cold; mentaiko pasta where portion is small and with no other ingredients; foie gras don where the sauce wasnt flavourful enough; butadon where portion was small; ending up with truffle fries being the best dish.
Omakase burger is delish! Juicy pattie and we get to choose the doneness as well! . Great ambience and vibe, great for big groups and private events. Will be back again!
Ambiance and food are both great!!! Good place to hang out with family and friends. Kids friendly as well since there are stuff to keep them occupied. Will surely come back again.
Good ambiance and location. Enjoyed the time there. Easy to use and dine there. The price is steep of the quality of food. Go when there's promotion only.
Picnic has multiple food kiosk, following an "upmarket food court" concept that's similar to Marche's. The selection isn't particularly diverse, and mostly everything is pricey (pushing $20, or more), so be prepared to spend. Being the thrifty sort I went for Mexican since it was the cheapest, and my Quesadillas (around $13 after GST) were delicious and of a decent portion - worth the price! I'd go back specifically for those Quesadillas. The decor is also very pretty with lots of artificial flowers and greenery.
The whole place is pretty spacious, good for large gathering session with families and friends. Wide choices of food options too to consider what to eat .
Food quality were normal and doesn’t justify for the price. Eg. mentaiko pasta cost $14 + additional ebi $5 The amount of ebi for $5 is quite pathetic.
Nice place with plenty of space. Omakase burger was delicious, however, the chicken tacos was very dry and tasteless. Buzzer system made for easy food retrieval and payment
Great dining venue for big groups. Several food options to pick from to suit each and everyone. Nice atmosphere and set up, once you enter you don’t feel like you’re in busy Orchard Road
everything is good, could be better with the range of choices though
Nice ambiance with greenery, good location, and suitable for gatherings. But limited choice of foods, food portion is medium but over pricing. They got a fussball table and arcade machine are free. But mini singK box still need to pay, quite disappointed.
Great atmosphere and selection of food was wide - good for big groups! However, the most of the food was more on the pricey side
Crowded place, a tad too noisy for talking but a great place for chilling! Loved the floral decorations and layout of the dining area, food is not bad too.
Third time here! There's always something for everyone because of the variety of stall in Picnic. Cosy environment and the decors were all pic-worthy! :)
Very nice and cosy place. Love the technology used for the dining experience, however, there are always queue as 1st time diner needs more time to get familiar with the system.
Great place for kids, plenty of space for kids to run around. Good food at pocket friendly prices. Very similar to Marche in concept but better food, prices and concept.
Good Ambience. Good for big groups. Everything is great except there are a lot of children. Might want to consider having a play area for them so that they won’t run around.
Seating arrangement is far from the collection of eateries housed within the restaurant. Otherwise, Omakase Burger is excellent.
The chicken in the tacos were kinda hard for personal liking, the Taiwanese beef noodles borderline. However the burgers were juicy and full of favors, pizzas not bad and the foie gras beef done is really good
The burger was quite tasty and delicious as the beef patty tastes a bit juicy and great. The surrounding atmosphere was quite decent and have a nice a view of orchard road.
Very fun filled place. Good food variety n plenty space to fool around during chill out. Location is cool too. Strongly recommended to all diners. Open hours throughout is a great feature!
First try at Picnic. The food is quite disappointing, especially the mentaiko pasta, so dried. Not much choices of food available too. However, environment wise, it's okay.
Went during lunch, not too much people around such that it feels crowded. Casual atmosphere, good and decently priced food.
I ate the foie gras beef rice. The rice was still quite hard and the beef slices quite tough. My friend had the pizza and her crudt was soggy. They were having a lunch promotion but the digital menu was not clear neither did the staff inform me of their ongoing promotions. I did not know that their set meal included a free drink. The staff at the drink stall did not inform me either. Upon paying the bill, the machines all had variou faults. First machine i used only accepted card payment, sencond machine did not give a receipt. Overall experience, not happy with the food, service was ok only. Its a pity Omasake Burgers moved there. When they were on their own, service and overall experience was much better.
Picnic has a great ambience/ atmosphere. Long tables are catered for large groups making it perfect for group gatherings. If you are also looking for a nice backdrop for photos after dinner, you will definitely find it here!
nice ambience and love the omakase burger though on the pricy side, but then again you're paying for the ambience too!
Great food and ambience. Not too crowded on fri night, good place to hang out. Huge variety of options for different people to choose from
Great tasting food. If there are more variety of choices like sushi and Thai food etc, it will definitely be better. Price can be lower since it is a self-service concept.
Great ambiance and lots of food options. We went there with kids and they also had fun playing at the ground independently - the adults can have a good time too!
Wonderful ambience. Good selection of food. Good overall service. Was there to enjoy Kumar’s show after dinner. Great concept. Highly recommended! Suitable for couple, suitable for big groups too.
Ambience wasn't as great, could get a little noisy with many kids around. The food is great, the staffs are very pleasant. The whole experience is fine except that the garden area was not open for seating which is a little disappointing.
Nice Ambience, not many people on weekday evenings, and efficient payment system like Marche. However, pricing of food can be rather steep and taste rather ordinary!
Amazing ambiance. Could improve a little bit on taste of food. But overall great service and would recommend coming here. It was a very fun experience.
Friendly environment for kids and adults... the food is great and there is many variety choices Korean, Japanese, western... suitable to held an kids party event.
We love the ambience. Food was nice but a little pricey.
Free seating concept & atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t too noisy. However waiting time for food was a little long.
Uplifting and refreshing ambience! Food was tasty & service prompt.
nice and cosy place. generally it is relatively easy to look for the food. but it will be good that the food value to be revise to slightly more economical to encourage more ordering.
fast, prompt service. the ordering process was systematic and swift. the staff were extremely friendly too. the ambience was great and there was an easy checkout process. would visit again!
Picnic is a great place to eat at, albeit prices are high but the Pizza, Burgers are to die for. Absolutely sure to return soon.
Really pretty place to take photos and hang out with friends and family! Tried the rosti with garlic prawns and sherry sauce and it was delicious!
Very new restaurant, similar concept Marche but with more high tech in term of food ordering. All diners are given an electronic device (with LCD display), similar to other restaurant that will beep or vibrate to notify you when the foods your ordered are ready for collection. Thus, you are able to make multiple orders at once. It also has more variety of foods. Taiwan beef noodles is highly recommended must try food. Taco from Daebak has very strong pork smell. We didn't really fancy it that much.
Picnic is a beautiful place - one with a huge variety of food too. From Pizza to Pasta to Burgers, there's something for everyone here. Prices are on the high side and servings could be bigger, but I am sure to return!
Price is a little expensive. The lighting was weird too: dimmed then became suddenly very bright, then dimmed again then becoming bright, etc... it was quite disconcerting😕
We ordered western, mexican and italian food and they are worth the price. You may want to choose a seat far from the western section as it gets just a little bit of food smoke that sticks go the clothes. Friendly staff and everything else is perfect. We didnt get to try the deserts as we were so full. Will go there again with new set of friends.
Maybe more choice of food store is preferred. The ambience is good and food is nice, maybe a little pricey but acceptable in town. Will return again
Great service!! But food is quite expensive, though its good!!
Overall ambience is cozy, however there is limited stalls serving selection of food. Would hope to expand bigger than Marche
The restaurant is so beautiful! Food was not bad and the fries at omakase burger was delicious! I will definitely bring my friends there again!
Staff are friendly, nice ambience, food are nice just some of the food items are kinda too salty. But thank you for the hospitality by having us!
