Peony Jade - Keppel Club

Brought 2 overseas guests there for lunch today. This restaurant is in a nice Chinese classical setting. Not overly done up. Air conditioning is strong so for those who like it cool, this is a fantastic place. They offer set menu, ala-carte menu and ala-carte buffet. They have nice dim sum art here where they craft little dim sums into cute animals or plants. If you opt for ala-carte buffet, they serve you the normal shaped ones. If you love prawns, this is the dim sum place to be. Most of their dim sum selections include some form of prawns in it. Fresh and crunchy. HOWEVER, if you do not like prawns or have an allergy related to prawns or crustacean (like that of my guests), then this is a really bad option. The manager was nice enough to head into the kitchen and got the chef to whip up something nice for them once he learnt they have allergies!! Now THIS is customer service.

... Food was great as always. The dishes arrived very fast so we did not have to wait too long. The service could have been much better, perhaps with a simple smile ...

Great Ambience! Free Corkage! Good Food! Had a good time with all 3 generations. Suitable for families with kids and/or old people. Thumbs Up! Definitely going again.

Nice relaxed environment. Good yummy food. Attentive service. The dim sum buffet has a great variety of selections. Go on weekdays instead of weekends to avoid the big crowd.

Excellent dim sum buffet complimented by attentive service, which enhanced the dining experience. Rustic location away from the weekday lunch crowds is a big plus.

tHER SERVERS WERE ATTENTIVE & PROVIDE GOOD SERVICE. FOOD WISE IS AVERAGE. THE PORK RIB HAS A FROZEN FOOD SMELL. DESSERTS WERE GOOD. BUT DO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE PARKING COST

Nice quality Dim Sum and Chinese food, quiet ambience and not too crowded restatutant, except carpark is too expensive at Keppel Club. Hope restaurant can look into it.

The taste of the ala carte main menu was fine. However it would be great if the service could have been improved for eg more attentive crew.

Nice ambiance, however restaurant seems to be short of staff. No one to entertain customers at entrance, had to walk in to look for staffs. Dim Sum wise, not very fantastic, can be better.

Good food and reasonable service. Francis made it easy for us to know what to order from the menu and was happy to tweak a dish for our young son. We will be back.

Nice food, but dim sum variety is not that much. Highly recommend barbeque pork and char sau Shu. The meat is tender and sauce is nice.

This is our first time eating at Peony Jade, KEPPEL club. The ambience was good and service was acceptable. The overall food quality was value for money. One or two dishes were delicious. Would definitely dine again on another occasion.

Tim sum was very delicious . Ambience- relax . Service-good. Worth the $$$

The restaurant has a nice interior and frontage. My favourite dish is the prawns with tang hoon (glass noodles) in claypot. You will need to drive in / taxi in to Keppel Club.

The food is fresh & delicious! & the price for the ala carte dim sum buffet is cheap at S$30. The service is very attentive. The only bad point is the chair is too high & make the seat very uncomfortable thus not able to sit for long.

Nice ambience with good food. Efficient and friendly staff. Though it is inconvenient without transport but still worth the visit and experience. Food worth money spent.

Food is still good but the price has increased. Not only that certain dishes we are only allowed to order 1 time per serving

This food is good, just that the no. of selections on the main dishes are limited. Didnt get to try others. But would visit again to try the rest of the dishes.

Food was excellent with the selection of delicacies authentic dishes. The size of prawn as ingredient in dimsum was amazing larger than others.. Probably be the most value dimsum ala cart buffet in town. Staff was great with service mind :)

Heavily salted and extremely oily food. Staff also appear to be not well trained.

comfortable place for a gathering with family and friends. food arrived promptly and staff are eager to help when requested for. went for the ala carte menu.
