Singapore may have it’s fair share of American-style restaurants, but nobody does ribs quite like Jurong East’s Ministry of Ribs. This is where Singapore’s most committed barbecue eaters and pork aficionados meat up to pig out on the city’s tastiest American-style delights and seafood specialties, all the while drinking an array of delicious craft beers and European brews available on tap. Found on Pandan Garden, Ministry of Ribs is highly recommended for locals and tourists alike.
Food is good and service personnel friendly. Ambience is ok.
Awesome Food at wallet friendly prices! They have nice selection of beer too.
The Flaming Ribs is touted to be the house speciality and costs more but consists of nothing more than ribs with barbeque sauce poured on top. The other two house recommendations -honey rum and hickory - are not much better. The meat is very dry. Appears to be pre-cooked and left on the grill for too long, drying out the meat. Not much service to speak of.
Ministry of Ribs provides all the American dishes you’ve been dreaming about, all available conveniently in one relaxed and comfortable location. From perfectly crispy fries to fall-off-the-bone ribs, the restaurant has the whole barbecue theme down pat. Making sure to select the best ribs, herbs and spices, Ministry of Ribs in Singapore’s Jurong East ensures that diners get their money’s worth, and with typical American-style hospitality, the servers are some of the friendliest in town.
