Deep in the National University of Singapore’s Kent Ridge campus, plucky diners can find a fine dining Chinese restaurant with impeccable pedigree. Melite Restaurant offers incredibly good value Chinese cuisine to hungry students and members of the public with a nose for Chinese food that are looking for a new lazy susan to gather around, compare notes, and most importantly undertake a big feast. If you’re visiting Melite with a large group, we recommend the Super Value Set for two, four, six, and ten people, the most luxurious of this (perfect for the Chinese New Year) including marinated jellyfish, Japanese radish, braised bran dough with mushroom, Shanghai-style smoked fish, Szechuan-style spicy chicken, yellow seabass soup with pickled vegetables, the restaurant’s signature fried prawn with the chef’s special sauce and a whole lot more. Find Melite along Lower Kent Ridge Road close to the junction with Kent Ridge Crescent.
Love the food. Ordered the Yang Chow fried rice, fried egg with tomato and sweet and sour pork ribs! all highly recommended and will go back again for sure!
