Known across Singapore for almost 25 years as one of the most reliable and authentic places to fill on some Indian cuisine, Maharajah radiates quality. Both Maharajah restaurants – and certainly this one on Boat Quay – display some curious Indian artefacts and specialise in North Indian cuisine, meaning you can expect all of the Indian classics and – given Maharajah’s lengthy presence in the business – plenty of house specialities prepared using methods and recipes passed down through the generations. We’d be lying if we said this restaurant at Boat Quay wasn’t popular, so it’s wise to book ahead.
Very courteous enjoyed the Ambience . The staff were very friendly too. Food was very delicious and they customised it to our requirements and it was very delicious.
It has never failed to please me. The buttered chicken is amazing, kadhai fish is always delicious, and its service is just as fantastic. This is the place where I'll go for my monthly Naan bread fix.
The food is excellent and the view (seated outside under the shed facing the lake) is good. Much recommended and a must try for Indian curry lovers.
Great food, outdoor seating for a hot afternoon was very comfortable, very cheery service staff. Will definitely recommend it for business and or family settings.
very authentic indian restaurant with good location. waiters are quite attentive and ambience is pretty good. can choose to sit outdoor or indoor. price wise is a little bit high for casual lunch. suggest to put more photos on the menu for non-indian patrons.
Great food, nice service, spectacular location on the banks of Singapore River. They even threw in a free dessert (chocolate ice cream). What more can you ask for?
Busy restaurant on Boat Quay with outdoor seating - which is nice; we sat alongside the Singapore River. Fast and efficient service; perhaps even a bit too fast actually. Broad selection and tasty.
My first time to Maharajan Restaurant. Nice food. Price of food is reasonable with great service. enjoyed the food greatly & definitely will be back again.
Very nice setting at Boat Quay and good food and service with a taste of humor. Would definitely go back again to this restaurants or recommend.
One of our favorite places on Boat Quay, great service and delicious food. Favorites are Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, Daal Makani and Paneer Butter Masala.
