Le Xiao Chu 楽小厨 in the Balestier district, is fast becoming one of Singapore’s favourite Chinese restaurants. And, with its fantastic service, exquisite food and the fact that they’re open daily until late, it’s easy to see why. Locals can’t get enough of the chye poh tofu, Sichuan potatoes, mala yabbies and, of course, the extremely popular and absolute must try, claypot seafood porridge. Located on Balestier Road across the street from the Balestier Hill Shopping Centre and only a few minutes walk from the Toa Payoh MRT station, there is no reason not to book a table and see why everyone is falling in love with Le Xiao Chu 楽小厨.

First time in this place. Good food and staff are polite.
The food is good esp the seafood porridge. Staff were polite and very attentive to our needs.
The food is delicious and staff r friendly too. It will be better that they can highlight on dishes for phone booking that need to be ordered in advance. Instead of us going over there and feel disappointed. For dessert, these are only 2 variety, orh nee n something else. It will be better if they could highlight to us at start on preparation time so that we can order in advance.
