Le Xiao Chu 楽小厨 in the Balestier district, is fast becoming one of Singapore’s favourite Chinese restaurants. And, with its fantastic service, exquisite food and the fact that they’re open daily until late, it’s easy to see why. Locals can’t get enough of the chye poh tofu, Sichuan potatoes, mala yabbies and, of course, the extremely popular and absolute must try, claypot seafood porridge. Located on Balestier Road across the street from the Balestier Hill Shopping Centre and only a few minutes walk from the Toa Payoh MRT station, there is no reason not to book a table and see why everyone is falling in love with Le Xiao Chu 楽小厨.
