Take your pick from an array of over 60 buffet and a la carte items ranging in meat, veggies, noodles, desserts and more at Ladyboy Mookata, a Geylang restaurant that specialises in the popular Thai-style barbecue and hot pot combo. What sets this Geylang Road joint apart from its competitors is its unique cheese mookata steamboat, with more than eight different broths to choose from. Included in the price are free flow beverages and ice cream including Thai iced milk tea, lemongrass tea and lychee lime sorbet – how’s that for a value-for-money deal in Singapore? Gather your friends and family down for a sumptuous feast at Ladyboy Mookata but first, we highly recommend that you book ahead to snag the best seats.
Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. Well done! Will definitely visit again.
Attentive staff and fast service! Loved the cheese! It’s a little on the pricey side for mookata, and the food could be fresher though. Overall I would visit the restaurant again, but only for buffet, not ala carte.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Value for money! It was not very crowded so we were seated quickly. Love the salted egg cheese the most!
Been here twice now and honestly the food is to die for! Best meal under $30! You get so much value for money. Honestly even if they charged double i would still come back! Great service, Great food!
Food was great! They have a chilli dip that was amazing. The pork collar is highly recommended too! Service was a little slow but it was a packed night so that was understandable. Great food, great price! Will definitely recommend to my friends and come back for more!
There were 2 very friendly staff! Among their cheese options, i think their salted egg cheese was the best. They have truffle cheese as well, but a little too strong for my tastebuds. Will go back for more!
Although a few dishes were not available but the overall food offering was still ok. Drinks are good but ice cream was a bit too icy. Ladyboy cheese and salted egg yolk cheese was more flavourful. Do give them a try if you like cheese. Have to add $5 for soup if you take cheese mookata.
Food was average and disappointing. The restaurant had a strange strong smell upon walking in, it smelled like it used to house cats. We were the first customers at 6.30pm. We really liked the cheese toppings and the ice cream, but the drinks weren't topped up. There are better mookata restaurants out there.
Food was generally tasty, novel way of eating mookata with a variety of cheese dips, and friendly and prompt service. we had alacarte, but on hindsight unless you’re not hungry at all, it’s probably more worth it to get the buffet.
Food was good, portion given was sufficient. Drinks and ice cream were surprisingly of very good quality. I wish the place was more ventilated. We were seated just beside the sink, which was probably not the best table there.
