Excellent all round. Cannot fault the food and the service. We will definitely be returning.
Very nice ... was little to spicy for the kids
The chicken kebabs were dry and salty. Not freshly prepared. The staff were good. The biriyani was not one of the best available in Singapore for its price.
The tandoori dishes are ok - the rest of the meal was well below expectations. The price we paid for that was pretty high too...tastes nothing like food in India! We won't be rushing back.
Nice flavors of India at value pricing. Friendly and fast service.
Nice savoury curry. Quite a variety to choose from. Will return.
Amazing food! It’s difficult to find a place where you get authentic taste while being affordable in Singapore. Definitely must try their many flavored naans
amazing food , excellent taste and a wonderful experience in Little India, Singapore . The staff were great too and very accommodating. Will be back again
Great breads and dal makhani. Especially liked the Laccha paratha
I travelled several times to India and this restaurant in Little India (Singapore) has excellent food at reasonable price with extensive menu and good service
food was nice , air con temperature just right , staff were friendly , prices reasonable , good variety of tea selections , only slightly noisy at times
Nice food, and the staff willing to serve and suggest
Brought guests who are visiting the restaurant for the first time. The butter chicken was a wee bit on the salty side (you can't eat it alone, need to complement with a naan or rice or beer :P ). Nevertheless, it was all thumbs up yesterday evening.
Food is good service is good . Only issue is they don’t have a baby chair that is a problem also the aircon was not effective
great place to dine at! looking forward to my next visit! Waiter was great excellent service with delicious food though curry could be more loved it
Had to go through 3 servers and show each of them my reservation confirmation email before getting seated on the second floor of the restaurant as we had asked for air-con seating. The restaurant was pretty quiet when we arrived at 5.20pm with a handful of customers. It gets crowded from 6pm onwards and can get quite noisy when people are talking loudly. We also noticed that many of their ceiling lights were flickering when they turned on all the lights as it got dark. The furniture/setting upstairs is more traditional style. Their tables are a bit higher than usual and chairs are really heavy and difficult to move/push around. There isn't a lot of leg space from the table skirt (wood) and the top of your thighs when seated, so not the most comfortable of sitting arrangements. Their hot teh halia was prepared less sweet for us as requested and the tea was smooth and silky but the tea flavour wasn't strong/rich enough. We ordered the half tandoori chicken, palek paneer, fish methi and mixed bread basket to share. The tandoori chicken was a bit disappointing as it was served warm (not hot) and a bit on the dry side. We would have liked a crispier texture or a bit of char on the outside. Portion was also a bit small for half a chicken. The palek paneer and fish methi were tasty and of good sized portions. Lots of ingredients (chunks of cottage cheese and fish respectively) in both dishes and you're not just getting more gravy/sauce with these dishes. There was a bit too much raw-tasting onions in the palek paneer for my liking though. We particularly loved the cheese and butter naans in the mixed bread basket which consisted of 6 different types/flavours of flatbreads. Some of the breads were a bit dry and hard to bite into. Really good value for the portion size but may be too much for 2 persons. Communication can be difficult sometimes as some of their servers don't seem to speak/understand English, but generally a pleasant enough experience here.
Our go too place for great Indian food. Love it.
Recommend the table upstairs. AC works better and good atmosphere. Very good naan that has been baked freshly. Will come back again for sure. Thanks
Just good for veggi. There are lots of vegg and none vegg items. Ambience is really good and staff is also very good. Just good for veggi. There are lots of vegg and none vegg items. Ambience is really good and staff is also very good.
Food was very delicious. Didn't have to wait for long time. We asked for some curry gravy for dipping but was told not for free and was asked to buy instead. Service was so- so. Ambience is very cosy. Suitable for all ages.
The service was superb. Three of us were seated upstairs rightaway and served food in 5-7 minutes. Quality of food is darn good specially chili chicken and simple dal tadka. Quantity which is sometimes lacking in S’pore was not a problem here. We will come back here.
Food was great tasting although they were a tad heavy on salt for the chicken tikka and the mutton curry that we had. I was amazed by the variety of Naan on offer. We had the Khasmiri Naan which was amazing!
Super sized portion and outstanding taste as always. Went with a friend of mine during lunch time and we've enjoyed our palak paneer and naan so much! Highly recommend their chilled honey water with saffron - great combo to beat the hot weather!
Fabulous selection of food and great service. Loved the fact that Kingfisher beer was available. The mixed naan basket is a great way to taste all of the naans.
Authentic Indian food. The seats we’re very heavy though, so not too comfortable
Visted for my wife birthday. Had good food and good service. Ambience is nice plus variety of food is good. Liked it a lot. Will keep coming.
The food & service was great but the music was a little too loud
I have tried it before and as always, the food was quite good and service was quick. Loved their masala tea in the end. It was a good experience overall.
Has been a regular at this place. Never disappointed. Food is always excellent. The kebab on its own is a tad on the salty side. Will definitely have to eat it with rice, naan, chapati or some other staples in order to achieve that balance on the palate.
Very good restaurant food is tasty and yummy. They have traditional north India food a bit different from what we usually find in Singapore. Service is ok
Superb kebabs , great starters , delicious main courses & very attentive staff . All in all another very pleasant evening at Khansama . Next time we're in Singapore we will be back .
Food is really really good. Service is good too. Easily managed to get our seats. Order was a bit faster than we expected. Price is also reasonable.
According to my friend from India, the Northern cuisine served were considered authentic. We had Naan, Tandoori , Paneer, and Butter Chicken. Flavourful and yummy! Will definitely patronise again.
One of my regular Indian food places. The server was secretly smiling when I asked for the mutton vindaloo to be more spicy. Probably an acknowledgement that I called them out toning down the spice heat to suit the majority's palate. The mutton vindaloo was still not spicy enough that evening. Overall, the food was excellent. My friend, whom I brought to the restaurant for the first time, was all praises. Loved the tandoori. Good value for money. Will come back again for sure.
super relax and the food was good alternative to the standard Asian fare.
A good place to have indian food. Been there a few times and would totally recommend to anyone who wants to have indian food @ little india!
The place was so clean and lovely both inside and outside. The staff was super attentive and quick to serve us even though it was pretty crowded. The food was DELICIOUS.
Love the food as always and the portions are huge. The chutney could have been better. I will definitely bring my friends there again for dinner.
Great food. Huge range of styles and variety for different dietary requirements. All tasted great. Casual dining with helpful staff. We’ve been coming here for 13 years. Will return again soon.
Huge menu, interesting selection of items that you cant find everywhere. e.g. Curd Rice, which is very rare. Menu has explanations so you know what you're eating
Excellent food but the drink menu is not so great. The service is efficient and quick. There is quite a queue on weekends so better to be early.
Tasty and good variety of menu options to consider. The food we ordered was served in time. Ambience was good. Some minor infra issues (tables shaking as they were unstable) needs attention
The food is delicious here. Especially the many variations on paneer. The serving sizes are bigger than other restaurants in the area so keep that in mind when ordering - as it's easy to order too much!
I am a repeated customer for years. I always order butter chicken, tikka malasa chicken, naan and masala hot tea. Highly recommend for anyone who are interested in good northern Indian cuisine. Overall, awesome service and food.
Initially had plans to dine in but had to take away the food instead. Still really tasty!! Never disappoints
Very good food as usual. I am a repeat customer though they don't really recognise me. :) Staff friendliness may be a bit stand-offish initially but I am sure, a few more visits down the road and they will certainly warm up to you.
bright space clean and authentic with wide menu choices Al reasonably priced. service is efficient and food taste great. always enjoy coming here and look forward to returning.
It’s good experience not great .Food was okay I don’t think will visit there again.
Excellent food, service and value. We will definitely go here again and bring family and friends when they visit Singapore. The palak paneer was especially tasty.
Very good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for the money. Huge selection of dishes, maybe too much. Good choice of vegeterian dishes and.
