Disappointed that a Japanese restaurant does not have japanese rice for their Dons. Fried ice cream isn't available either. Service was so so and nothing spectacular.

Nice small hole in the wall place. Reminds me of the small train station Izakayas in Tokyo. Good simple food, unpretentious. Drinks are chilled. Sake is good. What more to ask for?

Will recommend beef and kimchi ramen. Fantastic oyster. :) Quiet and comfy place for young couple. But have to order one bottle if you are keen on hot sake. Definitely will come back another time.

I have been here several times and introduced different groups of people here. The food is consistent and fresh each time. Service is prompt and sincere. I am a fan of their Kimchi ramen, a delight of savoury and sourish in a comforting dish! 😊 I'll come back again for sure!

The restaurant sits inside the connexion building. A small yet conducive ambience with excellent service. The serving staff are always attentive towards customers. We specially love the beef short rib and chicken thigh! Thumbs up for that!! Thanks for the fond memories on our anniversary :) Great choice indeed!

Food is nice, although the portion sizes are small. We loved the decor and ambience. We tried tori momo and shishito for appetizer, and chicken and salmon donburi for mains, and most were pretty tasty. Our favorite was the chicken donburi.

Small, cozy environment with interesting decos. Had the rather addictive Kawa Ebi (deep-fried river shrimps) as snacks and the Kaisen Chirashi Donburi as main, sadly it was the bara chirashi type and it wasn't fresh.

Food, ambience and service was great! Particularly love the scallop and pork belly skewers - so juicy and delicious! Indeed a hidden gem in Farrer Park.

My place to go whenever I'm craving for Yakitori. Food and drinks to share with friends, would be good if the food standard can be more consistent. But overall still great!

It's our third time at JINzakaya and we're fans of the yakitori here. Some people might think that the selection is limited compared to other yakitori places, but we feel that JINzakaya do what they do really well. We've tried many dishes on their menu and so far they have yet to disappoint!

We celebrated our friend's birthday here and were pleasantly surprised the staff helped to arrange her 12 mini cupcakes in a lovely nice heart shape pattern! Thanks for the effort, we appreciate it very much. We wanted fugu mirin but Jinzakaya didn't have it. However quick thinking staff told us he'd check with the restaurant next door and order it for us. It was so yummy, we ordered another serving. Very good service overall. Food wise, we liked everything we ordered - especially the marugoto tomato, ika maruyaki

Pricey, quality and taste don't match. Service wasn't all that great either. Highly disappointing and left there with my tastebuds and stomach dissatisfied. Appetiser was too salty, tsukune was gamely, karubi and kushi skewers were passable, and the butabara must have been the most fat-free pork belly I've ever had, rendering it tough, dry and flavourless. Will give credit for the home tofu (loved it) and the chicken skin skewers which were nicely crispy and excess fat rendered. Sadly, that's not enough to make me return or recommend.

Good food. Service was excellent. Kudos to Jake for the good sake recommendation. Sake was a great food accompaniment. If they had grill dried fish, that would have made it complete.

Quiet place. Away from the crowd. Quality of food is there. If feel like having yakitori, can consider coming here. Unless you have extra cash to spend, then it will be Kazu. Will be coming back here for sure.

Great! The wine is good & always chilled. Food served too fast and became cold dish, especially those needed to be consumed while still hot. Need to improve.

Warm service. Interesting and quality yakitori. Finer than some joints I've been to in Singapore. Yakitoris and small dishes can really add up to the final bill. So in terms of pricing I think the yakitoris could be lower. Decoration not quite as described or endeavoured. Overall a good place to chill out with a beer on the weekends.

Good yakitori with a chic ambience, would be better if there are more variety of chicken parts. Decent selection of Sake that are not overpriced as you might expect from a member of the Les Amis group.

Celebrating a friend's birthday there. Staff was very nice to take our cake to put on a plate & decorated with fruits & even put a candle on it for us! Friends had great reviews for the skewers. Chirashi don was a little smaller than usual size but it's a good sized carbs when paired with skewers.

Food was great except portion was a little too small. Lunch set is much cheaper than dinner, so it's more worth it to go in the day.
