At Jacob's the food is great. The staff were well trained and super polite. Most of all, the atmosphere was country tavern like.

They personalize it as is a friend’s birthday. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thumbs up for those who to be away from the bustling crowd. And meaningful time spend with closed friends

The waiting time for the food to be served was rather long, like 45 minutes. I personally felt that the food quality and taste have dropped. The taste was at best, mediocre.

The newly added: Swordfish sashimi is good. Stews are still tasty. Wait time was ok for us as we arrived slightly before peak period. The vibe wise is quite different from the previous round under the new management. Will consider going there when I’m in the area.

This is our third visit to this eatery Good food and services overall. Notable that the waiter serving is very friendly. Notably, the bowl of small fried prawns is amazing good! The beef stew is great. One minor point, if the beef can be stewed to a slightly softer texture will be perfect to my liking. Keep up the good work:)

The food was disappointing. One stafff who sported a beard and wears specs needs to learn to be respectful of customers.

One of the rare places that serve braised hainan pork knuckles. There is a short wait time for it but it is definitely worth the wait. It’s a pity they are closing up the place. They have given us plenty of good food and fond memories over the years. Thank you for blessing us with your food!

Love the enviroment. It's cosy, rustic n quiet. Staff was attentive and patient. The food was great. The Hainanese mutton soup with bread as yummy. Didn't have "muttony" smell. Love the pepperoni pizza, oxtail soup and German sausages. Will visit again.

One of our family favourites. We added two people to our reservation when we arrived and fortunately they could accommodate despite it being a full house. Food was comfortably dependable and service was decent despite the crowd. Glad to see them back in business!

A cozy joint serving country style cooking for roasts, grills, stews and pies. Ordered German pork knuckles, beef stew, pork chop, bbq pork ribs, would have to say surprisingly, the stuffed oven baked chicken is the tastiest. It’s the stuffing that’s the nicest- rice cooked with chinese sausage (server said just after CNY), chestnuts and mushrooms. Pork knuckles and beef stew are not too bad.
