Good Peranakan good, good customer service. Head down early during meal time

Had our Father’s Day family dinner at Ivins Peranakan Restaurant. It was crowded during dinner time, but luckily we made a reservation. The food was fantastic as always—authentic Peranakan flavors that are a family favorite. We especially enjoyed the ayam buah keluak and babi pongteh. Service was efficient despite the crowd. A great spot for comforting, delicious meals.

Dishes are very nice, medium portions are quite substantial and filling.

Our family go to Nonya restaurant in the neighbourhood :) Small place so reservations are necessary

Irvins has always been my favourite go to for Peranakan food. Very authentic flavours, standard always there, well maintained all the time.

The Peranakan food is quite authentic. Service is wonderful. Wait staff are very attentive and fast. Seating is rather limited so it's better to make a reservation.

had a hearty meal lunch! the beef rendang is excellent and pairs nicely with the yellow rice from the nasi lemak set. dessert was a tad disappointing - the buboh cha cha isn't as fragrant imho due to insufficient coconut milk used. overall, a satisfying meal. a revisit is on the cards :)

We tried the Assam Curry Fish Head but can’t try other dishes as we are rather small eaters. The curry sauce is not too bad but the fish is not fresh. Therefore we don’t like the fishy smell. The vegetables added were too little. I would suggest more garnishings to make the pot look more appealing too. Garnishings in term of more vegetables would be great.

Very crowded with a long queue on a Friday evening. The mee siam was good and reasonably priced for airconed setting.
