Okay, we’re not going to convince you that Incense Full Pot is the only quality Chinese hotpot specialist in Singapore’s Chinatown – but this cosy little eatery on Temple Street have a good shot at convincing you that they are perhaps the most affordable and fuss-free for Chinese eating of this style and quality. The broths are aromatic and rich, swimming with crunchy vegetables, juicy seafood and a whole garden of fresh spices and herbs, from their vegetarian concoction to the sizzling Sichuan spicy chicken. Still, there are many more delicious Chinese specialties to be found at Incense Full Pot, be it fresh crab stir fried with ginger and spring onion to share for an elegant evening meal, zingy pickled fish to accompany and enhance any dish or a rich plate of juicy pork and diced vegetables for a solo lunch.
