Went for the Omakase and felt it was not worth the price paid. There are better ones out there for this price. The ambience was nice, but not much for the service.
had the $98 omakase and as the restaurant wasn’t crowded, the staff were all very attentive the entire time. the sashimi cut were fresh and buttery but the wagyu beef was overlg seasoned and too salty
Appreciate their service and good ambience. The chef even helped to make some changes to the dishes when one of my friend have certain food allergy request.
tried the $98 omakase and it's really value for money! Food is also decent and service by the staff is great too!
Restaurant was not packed hence noise levels were acceptable. There were no wait time as I have done an online reservation. Food was pleasantly good as usually and I would return whenever possible, especially when there is a good promotion.
Great place to have dinner , the waitress was very attentive talking yr order , the waiter nvr allowed yr tea cup to go below half constantly topping up ur tea .. supper great service . Reservation done few days before heading down, informed them is my wife birthday, before paying the bills , they brought a very nice cake to celebrate my wife birthday… these little gesture makes the difference.:: thank u
it was my first time eating here, i know the ganko sushi when i was visiting osaka last year. the singapore store also giving me as good experience as the japan store. fresh quality of sashimi 👍
Great quality sushi but the price is accordingly. The chef is very creative.
Visited for a birthday and ordered the dinner Omakase set. Overall satisfactory though some sauces were rather heavy and salty, overpowering the freshness of the sashimi slices
unfortunately, the omasake was not fresh. and cooked food was salty and cold.
Had to repeat orders like extra shoyu, wasabi and tea. Orders taken wrongly and at multiple times there were no waiters/waitresses in the restaurant.
Service, food and atmosphere were good. But the noise level is on the high side, hence having conversation can be challenging.
Happy with the atmosphere and food:) will visit the place again. Repeated visits
Quiet place for dinner on a weekend because it wasn’t filled. Expensive Japanese food and served too quickly
Food quality, ambience of the place and staff service are all good..
Wide variety of food and good value of money yes
Great service and great food. wasn't too crowded so nice place for a client lunch
Busy lunch venue but we were lucky to get a window seat where it’s quieter and the food was really fresh and perfectly satisfying
Had the Omakase promotion. Chef was humorous and engaging throughout. The staff also surprised my wife with a birthday cake at the end which was a nice touch.
Went for a business lunch and it was crowded but we got a quieter table by the glass windows so the noise levels were manageable. Food was above average and so was the price!
Always good food and fresh fish. Return often with friends here.
Food is good. Service is attentive too. Will definitely visit again.
Great service and amazing fresh ingredients at a great price ! Will keep coming back
It was quite expensive but the food is good. Can't go often cos of price.
A great birthday dinner, thank you very much to Ganko!
Haven’t visited this restaurant for more than a year, food is still good! Sashimi very fresh, and thick-cut.
Food and ambience were both nice. Service was variable from staff to staff - this an area for possible improvement.
Overall 7/10 Would prefer to try the lunch set with more optional choices.
love da fooood!! Service was good, ambience too! will def go back
Ganko starts at 6pm, so literally we are the 1st few to go into the restaurant. Well attended and overall the food is good, just a few misses. Still, more than just good on the overall. very busy place before 830pm.
A unique location where you can enjoy the view of some greenery outside. The sushi set tasted great! It was a little expensive but I would visit again.
Abit on the pricey side of food but quality and freshness is there
amazing ambiance and beautiful lighting with amazing food and service, highly recommended to give it more than just 1 try!!
Omakase was not bad. Although ala carte probably presents better value.
Food was good and service was extremely pleasant. Food took a bit of time to come but the service staff were very good about it.
food was mediocre at best. went for this after seeing countless good (and paid) reviews but sushi could be fresher.
Food was great and value for money. I was upset that they did not have anything special for celebrating an occasion (e.g. birthday)
Wide variety of food and good quality. Service quality needs improvement though
ordered the sushi platter and to be honest its overhyped, it was just average to me. Hot soba noodles were good, tempura was not fried properly and cold. One item that was really good was the fried oysters, that was the best of out everything
Great ambience. Worth for the promo price. Might be back
Their sashimi is really good quality. Slightly pricy but definitely worth every bit of it.
It was a pleasant visit with good food but serving can be larger.
Food and service are alright but price is high considering.
the food is fresh and delicious. ambience is fantastic. nice and quiet good for a date.
As per usual, fresh sushi and sashimi, impeccable service from Ganko
High quality sushi offering and great service at Fort Canning.
nice and classy joint. food is decent.worth coming back again.
Nice ambience, lots of parking. Service staff were helpful too
Nice spacious restaurant with good lighting. Food did not match the price though. The fish was fresh but the sashimi prawns had bitter aftertaste, and the rice in the sushi crumbled easily.
Restaurant noted wheelchair user guest and seated us appropriately. Staff was attentive. Omakase was good & fresh but could be a little more generous with the sashimi. Food was fresh and good value for money. Dessert was limited to mochi and ice cream only. Tried the green tea ice cream, was surprising good and doesn’t taste too store bought. Ambience was nice too. Will return🙂
