The food and service were fine. No issue with them verifying our reservation.
Great sake and ramen meal, and friendly & hospitable staff, great night!
Has a home-made vibe to it. Good place for comfort Japanese food at good prices.
Has the delicious ramen and don here again, still as good
Yakiniku Don: The thin slices of Angus beef were perfectly tender and juicy as they absorbed the delicious yakiniku sauce. The meat was accompanied by caramelised onions that brought a touch of sweetness, suitably finished off with a gooey onsen egg. I really love the rice they used, it was plump and soft, good quality Japanese rice, and every grain was substantially coated in the sauce. Katy’s Curry Don: It came with a generous portion of plump slices of meat. I loved that the katsu wasn’t greasy, it had a light feel and was not dry in the slightest! With the addition of butter in their curry, it weighed heavily on the sweet and creamy side, absent of any spicy kick. The egg was a nice touch, but I think that the curry still lacked a depth in flavour. Ebi Curry Don: Fried with less oil, the batter of their tempura is light and still super crispy, removing itself from the oily and greasy feeling you’d usually associate with tempura.
Love the shoyu ramen here, and the friendly boss and staff
Am a fan of their ramen, but wife tried their rice bowl and it’s just as good!
Delicious food in a cosy place. Will return. Recommended. Can order sashimi from opposite shop owned by same boss.
good food as usual. fast and efficient service. 2nd time visit.
good food. chunky karaage which taste good. same for the chicken wings too!
The place was crowded on a Friday night. I had the Pork Katsu Curry Don, it was great and definitely worth the price.
Great ramen; next door is a omakase place run by the same boss
Had the shoyu ramen and some pan fried dumplings; loved the ramen and soup base.
Convenient location and the food was good. Will return again
Nice Japanese food in the area, price is a little expensive for a Japanese meal without sushi or sashimi
I went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I ordered the katsu curry don and it was very delicious. The pork was very tender inside and crispy outside, while the curry was flavourful. I will definitely bring my friends here next time.
I like the bar concept of eating in this place. The tiger prawn tempura is definitely yummy!
The second time I have visited this restaurant. The usual good service and good food was provided. I will come back again next time.
It was located in the King Albert Park Mall. Very quiet surroundings as the area is not busy. I was given a seat at the bar table. The owner, Sean, is very friendly as he gives recommendations when I asked for it. Will visit again.
Great food. Will go again Totally self service and small seating area
Food was nice, bar counter top seating arrangements can be a little squeezy especially if people had to walk behind your chairs. Overall experience was good, will be back!
food was okay! the prawn tendon was yummy, though pricing a little on the high side..
The use of fresh ingredients, coupled with tasty food & friendly staff.... It's simple but pleasant dinning experience.
a bit on the pricey side, having to bring the food yourself to the upper level is also quite inconvenient.
Good food and service. Very friendly manager whom I reckon is the owner. Portioning a bit small though. We were also not informed when making reservation via Quandoo that there is minimum spend amount per head of $16
Tasty ramen in pork bone broth, albeit with only two slices of chasiu. A bowl of edamame and quality green tea completed my lunch meal. Worth a second visit to explore other menu items :)
New store at King Albert Park. It was quite a quiet cafe-style dining. I had my food served at their counter. The host was warm and affable. Taste of the Japanese curry was good. Recommended for repeated visit!
