Fu Xiao Xian 抚小鲜

Terrible experience. Although I do not expect them to be 100% authentic compared to what I had in China, but it is no where near the passing mark.

The food there was great and the service was good!

Food was tasty but not really to my personal taste preference. The fish was steamed before putting into the pot, so there was a slight fishy smell. The chicken wing skewers and other side dishes were good. Service was good too.

Overall, location is abit challenging and food is abit spicy, even tho we didnt opt for the one with the chilli indication. But the fruit juice jar was totally worth it.

The location of this restaurant is difficult to find if you think it is located inside Bugis Junction. It is actually located opposite Bugis+. Choices of food are good if you are able to take spicy food but they do have non spicy dishes. Ambience is moderate, not as noisy and staff are friendly and helpful. Will return for other dishes

Overall great dining experience. Foods and services are good. Nice place for group dining.

We had the set meal for 4 pax and ordered a couple of additional dishes. The paper wrapped fish which is the main dish is good!

2nd time here. We tried the mala soup base, it tasted better than the spicy sour bamboo shoot soup base.

It was not crowded when we were there. So not noisy at all. We had a good dinner while chatting away.

Huge portions for the solo set menu. Pot came with a decent sized whole fish and some vegetables on the side. Might be enough to feed 2 actually!
