Came back for the claypot lala deal. Excellent value, would skip the korean noodles as those were like instant noodles pack.

Rice was fragrant and garlicky if you like garlic too! However the service by the manager/ owner left quite an unpleasant note. We were a table of 7 and they insisted on giving us a really small / medium table. At this point , there was a much larger table which they insisted was strictly only for 10 pax. We had 3 claypot soup dishes and obviously the small table could not fit all the dishes at all- only upon asking for 3 times, they decided to change us to the bigger table ( but at the same time telling us there was a group that reserved and would be coming later) . Even after 1hour- no other group of 10 came. I think it is ok to have restrictions on seating but please do be flexible as well instead of having the customers having to ask repeatedly to change table.

Food is very good. The zi char dishes got standard. Price also reasonable in today’s economic climate. However the place is very small, I booked for 8 pax but the table for 6 pax is the same size for 8 pax. As a result of the small and squeezy sitting arrangement, I ended up not ordering the steamboat because it would have been ridiculously difficult for us to eat like that.

Chicken was a bit cold (including the sauce drizzled on top before serving). On hindsight that means the air-conditioning was very strong.

Food was great. Service was good too. Will be back again .

Good chicken rice. Teh in a pot is also good. Kang Kong is solid. Highly recommend.

Staff was friendly and they even come and ask how's the food which is quite rare for a small restaurant Food taste great especially the satay (need a little more time than other food) and the chilli crab sauce prawns. Chicken was also reasonable but the fried beancurb (aka toufu) need improvements, not as per the photo advertised, its purely fried toufu and the chilli sauce put at a side in a small sauce plate.. unlike the traditional of chicken rice fried toufu where it put with shredded carrot and cucumber and chilli pour over it. Area was small but amazed they allow reservation on a weekend dinner.

Herbal chicken soup was salty .. food was average and cost is $98 for the set with 2 prawns etc even though set is 4 pax .. service was poor as well with staff preferring to look at their hp etc then servicing customers

Family dinner and everyone impressed with the tender chicken. Rice is good too. As they have steamboat so a variety of sauces. Prefer chicken rice over steamboat but good to have variety. Beansprout is yummy. Satay is decent. Prawn cook kumheong style is fresher than those in steamboat.

The food is nice but the service was very bad. The staff there are not friendly and help. They just passed us the menu and just walk away.

The food is nice.. especially the prawn soup base hotpot full of flavor, worth trying. The best part is open 24 hours, making it a perfect spot for a delicious supper in the heart of the city. A must-visit for late-night food lovers!

Place was crampy, have to keep giving way to servers and other patrons while eating. Roast chicken was kinda hard and portion was small. Steamboat was ok

Bought fave voucher for the prawn and I must say it's worth the money. The signature chicken rice is also super yummy. Will return again to try the hotpot.

Back here again for another round of great chicken rice and hotpot. The only disappointing part of our lunch was the staff opted to serve our order in a claypot instead of a regular steel hotpot as the claypot was taking too long to boil. Other than that everything else was good.

Internet abit lagging inside the restaurant. Noise level can be rather high if restaurant is fully occupied inside.

The chicken rice is nice😋. Chicken tender and tasty. The rice fragrant and fluffy! The chilli sauce is a bit too spicy for me. Will return back and try other items.

So glad to have this nostalgic chicken rice steamboat. We ordered the 2 pax set meal for 3 since we're small eaters. The herbal chicken soup matches the chicken rice well. Staff were polite & responsive. 100% recommend!

First time here and loving it! Like what my husband had mentioned in his Google review, worth the travel all the way from the west! Will definitely be back for more again soon!
