The Onglet is the best compared to the Tri tip and decker.

The food was great and value for money! Totally blown away by the starter “Baked Camembert”. That sealed the deal for me. The grilled beef was tender too! Nice marbling with a good fat:meat ratio.

Love the baked Camembert cheese. Like the steak too but prefer to have it served hot instead of lukewarm. Jerusalem Artichoke Puree in the Rabbit’s Wonderland dish is yummy. Can do more of it in this dish with the carrots and kale. Will definitely visit again with more friends.

Onglet was pretty good while flat iron was lacklustre. Everything else was good.

Restaurant gets really crowded during dinner peak hours probably due to the limited seating area so most of the seats offered were outdoor. Staff are generally nice & friendly!

Did not follow up with special request, despite it being in my reservation. Food and service, otherwise, was one of the best though.

Was there for my wife's birthday and the steak was good! Even a picky eater like her rate them 5 stars.

Did the tasting menu, pretty good steak. Didn't quite like to sit at the bar counter/stools but think no choice because the place is very small with limited seats.

Though ambiance of the restaurant ca be better the quality of the food cannot! It exceeded my expectations and the peppercorn sauce and Pommes purée were amazing, of course the meat too. And the cheesecake...OMG! Divine

get the burpple beyond 1 for 1 set for a value for money meal!

Felt neglected without service. Ask for water, salt wait v long still no one bring. Compared to my 1st experience eatg there, oh my great difference. Staff seem inexperience n unattentive. We have to walk in n try to get it ourself.

I had the 7 course set meal from burpple. The wagyu tri tip, beef cheek and wild berry bavarois was quite good. The rest was okay..

Great food, great service. Not many people eating on a Monday evening.. Venue was a bit disapointing.

Great find...reasonable wine pairings and good service...book with the app as phone was not answered.

Very bad service: pushed us to order at 9:45pm and told us that the kitchen was closing at 10pm while the restaurant closes at 11pm... They did the same thing with drinks, saying that we had to order wine and cocktails prior 10pm because the bar was also closing. We had to get up in the middle of the meal to pay (thus the steak was cold when we finally resumed our dinner), because they wanted to close as fast as possible. The meat is good but I've definitely tasted better steaks in Singapore. We could not order the tasting menu, because apparently you have to order it 2 weeks in advance (?!) -- I'm pretty sure they were just lazy and they wanted to finish their shifts sooner. Missing menu items: the oven baked camembert was not available (is it because it takes 15mins more to prepare?) + All desserts were not available. Overall, I am honestly not that picky when it comes to service but Fat belly was the worst dinning experience I've had in the city.

Generally very satisfactory service and good food. But waiting times in between food took a bit longer than expected.

Went to try their new tasting menu - actually prefer the previous one, but this one's no slack either.

Food was good, environment is great. Two of us and we had to share the table with another two pax on a 6 table. Understand the they had space constraints. But they could have placed us on two ends. Instead we were sat next to each other and my partner is quite big in size and he had to position himself out of the table..

Menu and price was not the same as seen on the burpple app. They recently changed the menu and we find the old menu better...

it was my first visit with my hubby. We totally enjoyed ourselves. a different take on the different cuts of beef - very interesting. Thank you.

The staff were so friendly and they even gifted us with a rose after the bill! the meal absolutely splendid!

Absolutely enjoyed it; from making a reservation to arriving to the place to enjoying the delicious food!

It was a little disappointing that they weren’t open, or even ready, at 6pm (especially since our reservation was for 6pm!!). They made up for it with the food (we had the truffle fries and charred broccolini as sides and both hit the spot; fries were crisp on the outside yet soft on the inside, and the broccolini had a lovely charred flavour... the steaks were FABULOUS... though the Mayura got a little too rich for me towards the end) and the service (though that could be attributed to our being seated at the bar). We enjoyed the music though it was a little loud... to be fair to Fat Belly, we were under the speakers so it was probably a good volume for everyone else. We had one starter (the baked Camembert — very DELISH!!), two mains sets (which included one side and one dessert), three glasses of wine, one G&T and a latte which came to about 280. Wouldn’t say it’s “value for money”, but the food is pretty good quality. We’ll be back :)

We ordered the 7 course tasting menu offered on the Burrple app. The restaurant placed us at the extreme corner of the bar in full view of the chef and his team preparing food for the entire restaurant, so we got the full experience. The entire course was enjoyable, filling and there was no need to add on any sides. The steak was a little tough even at medium rare and I informed the kitchen staff and they replaced it with a newly cooked piece which was more tender. Would be back again to try different dishes from their main menu!

Both the Deckle and the pork loin were good and the sides a good portion. However for the price I did not expect bar seating and plastic stools for a couple tables. Overall ambience is a neighbourhood bistro.

Did not enjoy the steak. Bland and some parts were really tough for medium rare.

Great flat iron, and wonderfully light cheesecake. Broccolini was fab too

Food was delicious, staffs were prompt with their service and very friendly

service sometimes took longer to get their attentive probably due to the overwhelming crowd. Portion for the mains was just alright but the sides are generous given the price.

Service was not very good, sent back two overcooked steaks, was delicious when new plates were brought out though, probably won't return

the area is quite clustered with other shops around which may be a bit hard to find

very slow service. we sat right at the bar Infront of the kitchen so we could see what's going on so we were not as impatient as other guests. however, this is a restaurant serving grilled food but they only have ONE very small grill and ONE person working the grill. the wait staff are also not particularly attentive and a couple of times the already swamped chefs have to refill our drinks etc because the wait staff just do not venture to the back of the restaurant. food was good but for the prices you are paying, service and wait times could be improved significantly.
